New pictures of HTC One X9 surface
Last month, the HTC One X9 was certified by TENAA, giving us four images of the phone. Expected to be launched early next year, a series of fresh pictures show off the device in a number of different poses. Originally thought to be a high-end device, the One X9 seems to be more of a mid-range phone.

The latest rumored specs for the HTC One X9 include a 5.5-inch screen sporting a resolution of 1080 x 1920. An octa-core 2.2GHz CPU is under the hood, with 2GB of RAM inside. 16GB of expandable native storage is aboard, and a 1TB capacity microSD slot is available to those seeking additional storage. A 13MP camera adorns the back of the phone, with a 5MP front-facing camera ready to snap selfies and handle video chats. Android 5.0.2 is pre-installed.
HTC's long awaited new high-end model, powered by the Snapdragon 820 chipset, should be next in line following the release of the One X9. The question is whether HTC's loyal fans can wait through the introduction and launch of another mid-range model, before a top-shelf device finally appears.

Thanks for the tip!

I'm loving the new speaker design. No more huge black bar. Can't wait for the new flagship!

Just like Motorola and Sony. They're going to slap a premium price again for a device with that 'mediocre' octa-core (Helio X10) chip.

Thats not even design. :| For crying out loud, HTC designed Phones like the Desire HD, the HD2, Titan 2, One series and's just ordinary and lame.

It case you didn't notice, it is a mid range phone. Their last mid range phone did well and I think this will follow suit.

It looks promising enough, but the amount of RAM decrease my interest :)

Ok. The design doesn't please my eyes.. They should check their concept renders.. Specs are good except Ram.. They should price it correct.. Hope they come back to track soon...

Another generic slab of a phone. I miss the days of madly designed phones like the Nokia 3650, siemens mc60 or Motorola razr. Not practical but interesting..

After targetting iPhone 6 for their A9, HTC has targetted Nexus 6P for their X9. Gosh, I wonder where the design originality of HTC has gone to............ If only their One M8 had an awesome camera, it would have been an unbeatable flagship for that year and HTC might regained its lost glory.............

Open your eyes and look at the hTC one v which HTC launched in 2012. The back camera portion in nexus 6p is raised whereas of the one v was flat ....just as same as X9 is having.....before going towards the comments I was 100 % sure some of the asses would say that it's a nexus 6p copy

MTK X20, 5,5" FHD, 2GB RAM - let's see if they can cram the MSRP under 400€/$ (for the record, the Redmi Note 3 has all this plus a fingerprint scanner, newer Lollipop for 180$). Btw the side flaps and buttons are just ugly. The 100$ chinese phones have more delicate buttons.

But do you know what you get with those Chinese phones??? Just eye candy! No support, poor build an constant issues for $180. I'll take Htc for $400 with none of the latter please.

If htc would like to listen to customers I recommend them to cancel this phone and start hiring a new design team with qualified CEO not the valid one who would like to shout and fight Apple with weak phones and now copying nexus render with some of htc touch, really I feel sorry about htc falling

Front look like render of leaks before M9 launch. Really nice front though not so much back of the panel.

Looks like an HTC Butterfly with a metal back. Fingerprint scanner either stopped existing or now exists on the screen.
