Motorola intros two new Moto Mods, including a QWERTY keyboard

Motorola is expanding its Moto Mods portfolio with two new accessories meant to be used alongside Moto smartphones: Lenovo Vital Moto Mod and Livermorium Slider Keyboard Moto Mod.

Both will be up for grabs through the Moto Z Market app in the Google Play Store, but only in those countries where the Moto Z is available for purchase. Motorola confirmed the Livermorium Slider Keyboard Moto Mod will go on sale later this winter for $99, while the Lenovo Vital Moto Mod should hit the shelves in April for $395.

The most expensive of the two, the Lenovo Vital Moto Mod is health accessory that can accurately measure five key vital signs: heart rate, respiratory rate, Pulse Ox, core body temperature, as well as systolic and diastolic blood pressure from the finger.

We've already reported about the Livermorium Slider Keyboard Moto Mod last year, as one of the most interesting Indiegogo projects. This is a QWERTY slider keyboard that can be attached to the Moto Z and tilted to 60 degrees. It's the perfect accessory for those who hate typing on a touchscreen for a long time and makes a fine addition to Motorola's portfolio of productivity tools.
