Motorola ATRIX 2 seen in AT&T store, one day before launch
One day before the expected launch of the Motorola ATRIX 2 at AT&T, one of the carrier's retail locations accidentally already had the phone up on display. The manager of the store admitted that the handset was put out by "mistake". And sure, putting the phone out for the public to see a day early is not a big deal, but it did result in the source getting a good look at the screen on the sequel.
The Motorola ATRIX 2 has a 4.3 qHD display, larger than the 4 incher on the original Motorola ATRIX, which also featured qHD resolution. Beside the larger size, the screen on the sequel doesn't appear to be a pentile matrix display and according to the tipster, that might be why the screen looks great. He also points out that the H+ icon that indicates connectivity with AT&T's HSPA+ pipeline has been replaced with a 4G logo.

The follow-up device to the "World's most powerful smartphone" will cost $99 with your signature on a 2-year contract. And if you can just hold on a bit longer, you should be able to pick up this unit only a few hours from now when AT&T opens the doors on its retail locations.
