Microsoft to unveil its first branded Lumia on November 11th, Nokia says it's 'Big on experiences'

Nokia just teased a new phone on its Facebook page, with the hashtag #MoreLumia, and the motto "Big on experiences". Now, what exactly does that mean, given that Microsoft has taken over the Lumia branding, too, is not exactly clear, but probably something that was in the pipeline before the buyout took place. Given that the slogan is "Big on experiences," this might be the youth-oriented midranger that has leaked before with Microsoft Lumia branding. This one is supposed to sport a 5" HD screen, a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon chipset, 1 GB RAM, and a 5 MP camera. In any case, the date given is 11.11, so not much more to wait before all is revealed.

Another slab of a phone that looks the same as all the others and has slightly different specs.. I miss the old days of mad lunatic phones like the nokia 3650 or the Siemens mc60. Phones have plateaued now with very little innovation and very small incremental updates.. They are starting to bore me.. Just my opinion..

I agree, only the Note Edge has really moved it on this year but it's been mostly meh so far. 5G, holograms and nokia morph concepts are still a way off!

You are right on point with the same o, same o in mobile phones. All the manufacturer phones all look alike with little creativity on the hardware whatsoever. The Note Edge is the only device thinking outside the box in hardware. Other than that, I agree on the boring dread of devices hardware nowadays.

They don't. Microsoft was officially placed in charge of Nokia's social networks and web sites for the duration of the business handover. This is all Microsoft.

A 1530 or 1030 would be great news! Don't really like the rounded-corners design, though! :-( Strange that we should be seeing a Lumia teaser on the Nokia site -way to keep up the confusion!

I think that phone with the rounded corner design is the 1330. Cuz that's the design the Lumia 1320 has.

i think it would be a budget phone with some bigger battery or screen as microsoft wouldn't like to release a high end phone with nokia lumia branding as of now !!

I am more excited about the phones that are to be released by the ohter nokia (that is not part of microsoft), the android ones. With the lumia lineup, kind of boring already.

Highly doubt qHD for this. qHD would be reserved for a next flagship, and this does not appear to be a flagship from leaks and rumors. At the most I'd expect maybe 1080p, and maybe a snapdragon 600.

Looks like I'm mistaken with qHD. Apprently, qHD refers to 960x540, whereas QHD refers to 2560x1440.
