Foldable Samsung Galaxy phone makes an appearance in video

A leaked video spotted by The Verge is a teaser for this month's Samsung Unpacked event to be held on February 20th. At that time, we expect to see Samsung unveil the Galaxy S10E, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, perhaps the Galaxy S10X (with 5G support), and the foldable Galaxy F (for Fold?). The video, can be found at the top of this article.

The clip shows some of the things that we might see in the future, including a smart mirror that measures an outfit, a robot that can ink a tattoo on someone while the artist draws the design on a tablet, and a foldable smartphone. That's right, starting at the 24 second mark of the video, it looks like the Samsung Galaxy F makes an appearance. The user opens it up (not fully) as though she is reading a book. And it does look similar to the device that Samsung quickly displayed at its Developer Conference in November.

The Samsung Galaxy F is expected to be quite pricey and recently a Samsung official said it would be priced at twice the cost of a premium phone. That means that the Galaxy F could cost $1,700 to over $2,000. The device will reportedly morph from a smartphone with a 4.58-inch display, to a tablet with a 7.3-inch screen.

I doubt this is the actual F device. This is all concept stuff. Nevertheless that's still pretty awesome. Am very much looking forward to a folding device. Note, shouldn't the front screen have turned off when the Fold was opened?

Got no interest in the phone but I want that tablet. Wow just wow. If they have such incredible concept designs, why do they keep making garbage tablets?

Exactly, the video depicts a very cold future, nothing is 'real'.

Who knows....since the Galaxy S+ line is getting just as large as the Note series, perhaps the fold concept will be merged with the Note series in the future. But knowing Samsung, probably not lol.

That would be smart. Have an SPen with the Galaxy F. That would be my ideal device.

Even if I wanted one (which I'm pretty sure I don't), I could never justify spending that much on a phone.

I am definitely in the "I want it if it's Good" crowd. I like the idea. I'm wary of it being done well.

Well phones are boring anyway , there is not much you can innovate in a brick. It all comes down to what you are willing to pay for? Personally I want following in my brick. -Top of the class build quality. -Top of the class software/optimization. -Top of the class display. These three things you can only get in flagships that cost above 700$. But people are willing to settle for Low build quality low display standard poor software Just for the sake of lower price (having latest procesor and bunch of ram is available to everyone anyway these days). That's how these companies like OnePlus thrive. Which I support but still .

Lol, this isn't the foldable Samsung phone. These are bunch of concept phones Samsung is showing. C'mon now. That being said, the only thing I'm remotely interested in this year are the foldables tbh. Sick of all the boring spec slabs out there. Even the highly anticipated Galaxy S10 is out here looking like a boring mess tbh. I'm crossing my fingers for the Motorola razr resurrection and I don't care whatever price they will be sold. All I want is for my mind to be excited again.

Oh look, its the insider that knows everything. This might be a concept and it might not be. You have no way of knowing.

Where’s the Samsung tablet that’s all screen like in the video? I agree this video is more fantasy than reality.
