AT&T released a promo video showcasing the highlight features of the upcoming
LG V30, including its cameras, its 6-inch FullVision display, and its water-resistant body - but we already
knew about all these. A new thing that AT&T's video - embedded below - is revealing is related to the US warranty of the V30.
Normally, in the US, smartphones come with 1 year limited warranty. Some months back, LG changed this with its G6 smartphone, offering
another year of extra warranty for free. As it turns out, the company is doing the same thing with the V30.
As AT&T's video is showing (at 0:53), the V30 will come with LG's "second year promise", which basically extends the phone's warranty from 1 year to 2 years - for free. To take advantage of this offer, you will have to register your V30 with LG within 90 days from purchase.
Right now, we don't know exactly when the LG V30 will be launched by AT&T, or other US carriers. However, as reported a few days back, when the handset was
released in South Korea, the V30 should be widely available stateside starting October. As soon as the phone launches, we'll let you know.
