LG G3 arrives at Sprint on July 18, exclusive gold version reconfirmed
Sprint just announced that its LG G3 would be available to purchase starting July 18 - a few days after the handset will be released by T-Mobile. “Well-qualified” customers will be able to get the G3 for $0 down and 24 monthly payments of $25 with Sprint’s Easy Pay. Pre-orders for the handset will begin on July 11, and Sprint is reminding us that it’s the only US carrier to offer the device in a shine gold color option.

You can already pre-register for the LG G3 at Sprint (via the first source link at the end of the article). By doing so, you’ll have the chance to win a free G3.

Already available in some markets around the world, the LG G3 will be North America’s first smartphone to offer a Quad HD (1,440 x 2,560 pixels) display. If you want to know more about LG’s new flagship smartphone, you should read our LG G3 review here.

AT&T and Verizon have yet to announce release dates for the LG G3. However, it’s said that Verizon might start selling the handset on July 17, and we assume AT&T is planning to launch it this month as well.

Is the "Gold" color great enough to put up with Sprint? ..... NO

So $600. More than T-Mobile is charging for the higher-specced model. Way to go there.

Where have they confirmed they will only have the lower spec model?

It had been "confirmed" for quite a while now, until last night when someone supposedly posted a photo of the spec sheet indicating it will be the 3/32 version. So now we'll just have to see when Sprint releases the official specs.

They don't want to invest in ordering different colors unless its Apple or Samsung.

Outside of the iPhone, gold or champagne, or any other variant has never been in high demand for any other model.

Two months before Note 4, iPhone 6, and potentially the Plus/+1/Prime/F/WTF models from Samsung, HTC, and even LG themselves. Doesn't seem like enough time to sell a lot of units of this phone unless they price it well, say free on contract like the G2 is now.

I find it so funny that so many people still bash Sprint. Sprint played it smart and has completely redone all of their towers to keep up with technology. So, now that Sprint is ahead of the curve and updated with the newest towers, what are the other major carriers going to do once technology catches up to them and they can no longer just "plug and play" into their existing towers. Sprint had hiccups for years, but at least their hiccups will soon be gone. The other guys haven't even started hiccuping yet. Way to go Sprint!!!!! Keep up all of the great work that you are doing and having the fastest 4G LTE network around. Oh, and all you Sprint bashers out there, you're network will soon have the hiccups for a few years as well and I'm sure Sprint will hold no grudges and have every single one of you as new customers.

Exactly, i had sprint before i went to prison (23 months) and when i got out, i went back. even tho the 3g sucked, it was unlimited. when i moved to my new apt, i had 4 to 5 barsLTE inside. the network is so fast i didn't even buy internet service. i just rooted a note 3 and wala. unlimited..... its not even a spark enabled phone and it hits15 to 25m easy. gaming on LTE anywhere. i traveled from Seattle to florida for the holiday and i was playing titan fall on the alienware laptop no hicups what so ever in the airport. so there u go. SPRINT LTE, being a phone junkie. i quickly got ride of my VZW moto x. gret phone but the meter sux. THX
