Now that we've been seeing plenty of spy images of the Motorola Droid Shadow/Xtreme, the latest images of the next high powered Android handset from Motorola is finally showing off its back side. Based on these new leaked images, the handset is going to carry on an 8-megapixel shooter with the words HD video giving us an insight to its capability while the dual-LED flash compliments its overall photo prowess. Additionally, it remains unseen whether or not the smartphone is running some sort of optimized version of MOTOBLUR that some are also referring to as “ninja blur.” Finally, the name of the handset has been debated over and over, but now the Droid Xtreme moniker is looking like the front leading candidate so far. So the only thing left now to find out about the Motorola Droid Xtreme is a launch date time frame and then we should all be set.

I'm starting to have a little faith in Motorola again, but it still might take some time considering some of the garbage they put on the market in the last decade or so. At least the first Droid was an amazing device, but then they follow that up with the Devour. Thank the Lord they let the Google techs in the building to supervise.

LOL, you have been holding a grudge for nearly 10 years and thats why you wont buy a Motorola??? I'd hate to be your enemy. Anyways Motorola has come out with some truly amazing phones in the last 6 months or so and have been overly satisfied with the results. In rural areas the Droid has come through for our customers and it is currently one of the few phones we can sell to just about anyone and NOT have them come back with problems. Gratz Motorola! And please keep them coming! You make my customers happy, Im happy!

Devour & Backflip are def. two recent Motorola's that I would pass on...horrible phones, but the Droid has done me well. Motorola Razr, Q, etc. has definitely given Motorola a bad rep...and I think Motorola knows that. They have stepped it up with the Droid tho.

I can't tell you how much I agree with this. I have had ONE Droid returned out of probably 75 i've sold in the last month and a half to two months and it was because the phone was simply too big for the customer. I sell them to people who are upgrading from black and white phones and they love it...

Does anyone know what kind of processor this phone will have?? Will it be faster than the incredible or nexus one?

Unless we hear something new from the chip developers I will assume it will be the same Snapdragon processor.
