Hulu Plus is coming to RIM's BlackBerry PlayBook
It seems like Hulu's free streaming service should be available on all smartphones and tablets. After all, it only requires a browser with Flash, and a decent connection. But then Hulu wouldn't be able to sell their $7.99 service, which expands the available library, eliminates commercials, and enables viewing on your mobile device.

For at least a few days after its release, the BlackBerry PlayBook was able to stream Hulu's free service, before it was promptly blocked by Hulu. But a RIM spokesperson says that "We are in conversations with Hulu to bring the Hulu Plus subscription service to BlackBerry PlayBook users."

That would put the PlayBook among the few Hulu Plus-enabled mobile devices, like the iPhone, iPad, and eventually Android devices. More importantly, it would underscore RIM's marketing of the PlayBook as a powerful media machine.

Hulu recently dropped the price of their premium service from $9.99 to $7.99, matching the streaming-only rate of Netflix. And they've also added the entire Criterion Collection to their library, including The Tale of Zatoichi, The Lord of the Flies, and more.

I know right !! I can't get over the fact that a blackberry device hit the market without an "email" app. It's like a brand new 2011 luxury car with a killer sound system and all the latest tech... and "power steering" coming soon !!

just to point out.. i have hulu plus. you actually get LESS over all content since it doesnt provide the clips and other things from many of the shows that regular Hulu has (no idea why), and still have those 3-4 commercials per episode. Your basically just paying for it to stream to your PS3/whatever. Of course, Netflix + Hulu = no need for any cable/sattelite (just internet). Been running that way for 6 months now and couldnt be happier. 15 bux a month for everything i ever could watch.. lol.

because hulu doesnt have the rights to show those on anything but a computer. it says on under each show if it has rights to put it on mobile and ps3 and stuf or not.

ya, i know.. but i still think its silly that they can only show some content on computer, and some content on the PS3. Of course, it would be nice if those assinine hackers would stop destroying the PS3 network so I can actually watch HULU.. OI.
