Huawei teases about its upcoming user interface, EMUI 3.0, take a sneak peek here
Huawei's prepping an event at IFA 2014, and it has already hinted us that an official announcement of one of its upcoming devices might take place on September 4. We still have no clue if this will be the Huawei Ascend D3, Mate 7, or Ascend D7, but we are pretty sure that the device will run on the manufacturer's refreshed EmotionUI. It will be based on Android 4.4.2 KitKat and will be called EMUI 3.0. Huawei's event will take place in three weeks' time exactly, but we have already been treated to a slew of teasing screenshots from the upcoming UI.

The screenshots below are of EMUI 3.0, running on one of the most recent Huawei devices, the Honor 6, which is flaunting the maker's own octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 920 SoC. As you can see from the screenshots below, EMUI 3.0 is endowed with a uniform circular interface pattern, which is being employed in a plethora of interface screens, such as the clock, radio, and weather apps. All in all, it looks pretty polished and distinguishable and would provide a "more consistent look and feel". And it looks appealing, indeed.

Check the leaked images of Huawei's upcoming user interface and feel free to share any thoughts you might have with us by dropping a comment in the box below.
