Huawei Honor 7 and Honor 7 Plus leak out - premium chassis and a fingerprint sensor
Huawei's Honor 6 was one of the best values for its price tag when it launched last year, and now the company is apparently prepping a sequel, which will be in sync with its current premium design philosophy. The Honor 7 looks like it will be made of metal, but might sport a larger screen, compared to the Honor 6, judging from the leaked photos.

The eventual Honor 7 also sports a fingerprint sensor on the back, like the Mate 7 - something that the newly-announced P8 flagship doesn't have. moreover, there is another leak, of a phone we've glimpsed already here and there, and that one seems to be a successor to the Honor 6 Plus, which has a dual-camera setup for intriguing depth of field perception shenanigans.

Both probably won't be hitting before the summer, but in the meantime we can expect plenty of leaks, filling specs around the inevitable 5.5" screens, Kirin 930/ 935 chipset, 3 GB of RAM, and Android 5.0 Lollipop, skinned with Huawei’s Emotion UI.

Seriously considering a Huawei phone as my next. I like their latest releases, the UI and fancy a change from the normal big brands

To be honest Huawei is bigger than most other companies.

And so is LG, Lenovo, and Samsung. Just because these companies are big doesn't mean they are big brand if they can't penetrate smartphones.

Huawei phones are great. They have great battery life, a good and user friendly UI, good camera, all in a good price tag. They just need to improve GPU performance and should focus on putting steareo speakers for good multimedia experience. Huawei mate 7 is a beautiful and premuim looking phone, despite having 6inch display it is almost same in size as note 4

You are quite right, this particular one is nothing more than an ugly looking device. The name should be Dishonor 7 and DisHonor 7 plus

I thought that those ugly "leaked" pictures of iPhone6 were also fake. Turned out - not so. Same with M9 leaks - everyone was like "ha-ha, this is M8 on the pics, who are you fooling with these fakes" - in the end it was the M8 refresh. Right now it seems that most of the leaks are hidden marketing focus testing.

P8 should have been released with fingerprint scanner as it is a flagship.

Yes, Huawei is a bit like Samsung - a flood of umpteen varieties constantly coming at us. I have their Mediapad x1 at the moment and like it but it is more of a tablet size device although also a phone. I was thinking about getting the Honor 6 Plus - a relatively inexpensive 5.5 inch phone. The Honor 6 is a 5 inch phone. If the Honor 7 will be 5.5 maybe there won't be a PLUS version? I would have liked to buy their Ascend Mate 7 having tried the Ascend Mate 1, but the 7 was outrageously expensive for a relatively unknown brand name, hence not for me.

Ascend mate 7 is a beautiful device. If you are considering huawei then you should have a look on mate 7, I guess you will admire its beautiful build. Plus point of mate 7 is, it is quite compact despite having 6inch display. It is almost the same size of my note 4. Finger scanner of mate 7 is also very sensibly implemented, its better than iphone or samsung. Price is also not bad, it is available in $490 now. I am considering to swap my note 4 with the mate 7 of my colleague. p.s. I have mediapad x1 as my tablet and it is a great device with great battery. Better than any other 7inch table in the market
