Here are some more live photos of Samsung's high-end Android clamshell, the SM-W2017
We've been inundated with photos of the Samsung SM-W2017. And just when you thought that there could be no more photos showing this high-end Android powered clamshell, more images arrive. Yesterday, we learned that the phone, codenamed Veyron, is expected to be released next month in China. The expected price is the equivalent of $1498 USD.

Today's pictures show off the dialer, an AnTuTu test result (the phone tallied a rather disappointing 62,376), and the home screen. Being a smartphone, you'll find plenty of features not found on most phones with this form factor, which are usually featurephones. SM-W2017 features include an Always On screen, Quick Charge for the 2000mAh battery, a fingerprint scanner, 64GB of flash storage, and 4GB of RAM.

Eventually we will run out of pictures of the SM-W2017 to show you, at least until the phone is unveiled by Samsung. That might be tomorrow, the day after, or the day after that. For now, you can check out the latest live images of this interesting phone by clicking on the sideshow below.

Quote: "Any attempts to sell the most phones". Nah. More like all attempts to release al sorts of phones to carter to the vast amount of smartphone enthusiasts who have different tastes in smartphones: from screen size to design and form factor. There are people who still have the clamshell nostalgia!

they cost over 2000USD in China, can you really justify the price for this phone? It's basically less functional s7 which some older tech. I bet the profit margin for this phone is a lot higher than the notorious iPhone

"The expected price is the equivalent of $1498 USD" Not $2000usd But even $1498 is to much, that I agree.

Samsung is done in China. They're bungling and poor response is the nail in the coffin. They're not even in the top 5 now.

Buttons in picture 6 are hopefully fake. Also, that is a crazy high price, for the 2 screens maybe?
