HTC Trophy also getting Mango beginning today
We may be starting to sound like a broken record here, but the HTC Trophy for Verizon is the next on the list of Windows Phone devices to get the Mango update beginning today.

Microsoft has begun rolling the Mango update out to many other devices today such as the HTC Arrive for Sprint and the HTC HD7 for T-Mobile. Their instructions for download are all the same. This is not an over-the-air update that will be pushed directly to your device via the carrier. Verizon will send out a notification, just as T-Mobile and Sprint will be doing, when the Mango update is available for each and every HTC Trophy. As of now the Verizon website has this update listed as “Coming Soon.”

Once the update is available to download, you can access it via the Zune Software Client. After completing the download the handset will need to be connected to the computer using the USB cable in order to finish the installation. The roll-out will take some time for the HTC Trophy, as is the case with all of the other Windows devices getting their turn to try Mango. If you’ve already received your notification that Mango is now available for your HTC Trophy then try it out and tell us what you think!
