HTC One launch pushed to April, pre-orders to arrive in late March
The HTC One should be coming very soon in the United States, but in the United Kingdom HTC’s new Android flagship is facing delays. Clove UK has pushed the HTC One launch date from March 15th to March 29th, with wider availability in April, and now HTC itself has confirmed the delay:

“We will start fulfilling pre-orders by end March in certain markets and will roll out to more markets as we approach April,” the company explained.

Right now, the delay in the United Kingdom is not expected to affect U.S. availability. In the United States, there is no exact release date yet for the HTC One, and we only know that AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile are expecting the device to arrive in stores soon.

HTC is trying to release the One earlier than the big competition, most notably - earlier than the Samsung Galaxy S IV. As a sidenote, our own HTC One review should be coming very soon, so stay tuned.
