Google Pixel XL vs Pixel 2 XL: all major differences to expect

The new Google phones about to be announced tomorrow, are expected to be faster and better, which is a foregone conclusion, but the larger Pixel 2 XL, which might be made by LG, will follow the bezel-less trend of late.

Given its rumored $849 starting price, though, we'd expect the Pixel 2 to prove the more popular of the two handsets, but still the more interesting one will be its larger sibling, so check out what major differences with the current Pixel XL can be expected from its successor.

The taller aspect ratio of the XL is definitely better for split screen multitasking, Daydream VR, as well as 18:9 videos.

I agree, $50 with all the camera customization abilities. Only downside my be android updates and clean software(which is a personal taste).

Yes, camera customization, expandable memory and yes, long term updates is the thing. Hope LG will support that.

Honestly, the Pixel phones, while great on so many levels (primarely software!), are missing some key features if the rumors are correct. I really hope that they don't drop the 3.5mm jack, and I really hope the back is made of ceramic, or glass (hell, even a high end plastic) in order to include wireless charging. I know, I know, it seems trivial, that is until you use it and get used to having it. I've gotten accustomed to it, and it's great! I definitely will want it in my next phone, and plus, even Apple got on board. For the price they will likely charge for the phones, it will be a huge miss if the Pixel 2 doesn't have it, and it looks like it wont.
