Get the AT&T branded Nokia Lumia 635 for $39.99 from Radio Shack
You know that Nokia Lumia 635 for the AT&T GoPhone service that you've been wanting? Now would be a great time to pick it up from Radio Shack. The struggling retailer is selling the Windows Phone 8.1 powered handset for $49.99. Give the retailer your email address, and they will knock another $10 off the price to make the bottom line $39.99. And shipping is free.

The Nokia Lumia 635 features a 4.5-inch screen, offering a resolution of 480 x 854. A quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 CPU can be found under the hood with the Adreno 305 GPU crunching graphics. 512MB of RAM is on board along with 8GB of RAM. A 128GB capacity microSD slot adds additional memory for those who need it. The rear-facing 5MP camera is the only snapper on the device, although it does not have a flash, and an 1830 mAh battery keeps the lights on.

Speaking about keeping the lights on, there has been talk about Radio Shack filing for bankruptcy. While such a filing most likely wouldn't affect this deal, you might still want to take advantage of this pricing while you can.

"512MB of RAM is on board along with 8GB of RAM." 8GB of ROM I think you mean.

Basically 80% of an iPhone 6 for roughly 5% of the price. Not bad.

dude ill buy you any phone you want if you can make a valid argument that a 635 is 80% as good as a iPhone 6

The 635 offers 512MB RAM instead of 1GB and a lower resolution screen. Other than that, the phones are comparable. Outside of Apple's lifestyle pornography advertising, there is nothing "magical" about the iPhone 6. Okay, if you want to give Apple all your health data and payment data for free, then maybe you should get an iPhone 6. But otherwise, save $600+ and get a phone without an Apple logo.

I don't either. Apple pay is cool but I'm all about cash transactions and health information wells I'm fat lmao but seriously windows mobile is s**t. When it comes to apple the 1gb ram isn't anywhere the top of the line but iOS runs smoothly. Your hatred for apple is obvious but you could use a better device to prove your argument. All you have is the RAM.

Please do tell me how the A8 chip is on equal playing fields with the S400. I'll wait.

I dont think it is about the soc, very few things will push the A8 currently. And the ones that do, for me at least, i will easily just simply go and play xbox or pc. I am not a huge mobile gamer myself. I like Hero Forge and a few others. In reality, i would pitch the 930, for 400 unlocked, any day against an iphone6. For this price, it is a huge steal, and would be like getting an iphone 6 for 200 off contract

Bought it for the same price a month ago from Microsoft store. Unlocked it for $6 and using it on TMobile. Everything works fine except WiFi calling of course. A Great little phone as MP3 player with 128 GB micro SD, offline GPS maps, Cortana etc. Colorful backs for $6 on ebay. Really a steal for this money.

Can you tether? Where did you find an unlock code for $6? All the unlock companies I've investigated either won't unlock the gophone version or or charge $40.

Yes i can. I searched a lot. I am aware it looks as if there is nothing less than $30. But if you really look hard on e-bay you can find it. I am not sure I can post link to it.

I have a 1020, and 930 on Tmobile USA, and i can tether on both. If you find yourself not able to tether, try another apn that their engineers* will give you. I believe its a pcweb.tmobile.com apn setting for tethering when the normal fast.tmobile.com gives a error. If you get an upsell error, let them know, cause they can change that too.

I have a T-Mobile branded 925 and a Cricket branded 630 and neither will tether even though they are both unlocked. The Lumia 925 shows an upsell error message even when I'm trying to use it to tether on Cricket. Regardless of APN settings or the carrier I'm using, the phone contacts T-Mobile to authorize tethering. The Lumia 630 doesn't even show the option for internet sharing. The feature simply isn't there and has been removed from the menu.
