Samsung sends Fortnite fans a Supply Drop that includes a free Galaxy Note 9

Fortnite's Android debut on the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will always link the pair together. Samsung decided to reward the top Fortnite players by sending them a Supply Drop. Inside were commemorative plaques, a framed poster of the Fortnite Galaxy skin, a Fortnite Galaxy Skin hat, and a free Samsung Galaxy Note 9 among other things. And Sammy then turned the whole thing into a television commercial for the device.
While playing Fortnite on their new Galaxy Note 9, some the players commented on the phone. One said that the Galaxy Note 9 lives up to the hype, while a different player said she couldn't believe how smooth the game action is. Another noted that playing Fortnite on the Galaxy Note 9 "feels just like playing on desktop." And with the 4000mAh battery that powers the handset, Fortnite can be played " for hours and hours on this, and the battery is going to be fine."
One of the lucky Supply Drop recipient's said that the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is "the perfect gaming phone." Whether you agree or disagree, you might feel that green-eyed monster called jealousy creep into your body while watching the video. You can find the clip at the top of this article.

The real question is " How more desperate can Samsung be ??? " Now they are giving away their 2 moth old flagship phone for free......lol This is totally messed up. iPhone Xs has messed up Samsung's brains big time.

What's a computer? That f**king ad was a subliminal diss to a PC. Also, how many tomes have Apple dissed Samsung and PC, even going S far as claiming an iPad is a computer. Now those things are desperate. Like how desperate your mouth needs Tim Cook's dick. Haha

It is a simple, cheap PR move to be mentioned on tech related sites. You know what marketing is, right? ... even Apple does it? Will it help to get the message across? TBH I am on the "What a hell do Fortnite and Note have in common?" vibe here. Mixing "business", top tier phone and game, where the majority of players is like 10-15yo? So desperate? IMHO no. But clueless? Kinda.

japkoslav the link between the two is the Note 9 is supposedly the first phone that Epic launched Fortnite on. I'm sure there are tons of phones out there running it that side loaded the game using an apk but the Note 9 was the first official device to be able to get Fortnite.

I know. Samsung is trying to make the connection Fortnite -> Note. But to me, it's a pure nonsense. Kids = no money, small hands. Note9 = phone when you need to get the job done. Not to mention FPS sucks on a touchscreen.

stop being a fanboy. I have an iPhone X but there's no need to say something stupid about what Samsung did. It was cool and its something that they did with their cross promotion. apple didnt do it, accept it and move on.

Saw a comparison between Xs Max and Note 9 playing fortnite and the article said that there’s a few drop in frames in Note 9, especially when jumping on the bus. Samsung holidays just come in, giving free phones and stuff.

Nice. Samsung has recovered nicely from the sticky bombs they introduced 2 years ago. This is why Apple and Samsung are the top two phone companies. They know how to market their product. They may not make the best stuff, but they are the best at making their stuff look like it's the best.

People pay $1000 & the profit goes to ad campaigns where people get free phones...wtf They better reduce the phone's price instead. This is the reason I'll never buy such an expensive phone. It's never worth the money & u feel that u have wasted your money
