Fashion magazine uses Nokia Lumia 1020 to shoot entire 10th edition

Photographers for U.K. fashion magazine Centrefold ditched their expensive stand-alone cameras and turned to the Nokia Lumia 1020 for all photographs for its 10th edition. The camera-centric Windows Phone 8 handset offers a 41MP rear-facing PureView camera. And not only are all of the pictures in the magazine the handiwork of the Nokia Lumia 1020, a special exhibit is being held in London this weekend by the magazine's photographers, Tung Walsh, Damon Baker and Tang Ting. On display are some of the photographs that the trio snapped using the rear snapper on the phone.

Having Centrefold shoot its entire 10th edition using the Nokia Lumia 1020 shows the flexibility of the 41MP PureView camera. It can be used by professionals who are used to the most expensive and capable photography equipment. The camera on the Lumia 1020 is also perfect for those who know nothing about taking pictures. All of the settings can be automatically handled by the phone.
