Facebook launches separate Groups app (Android, iOS)
Earlier this year, Facebook launched Messenger as a separate mobile app, which proved to be a pretty unpopular idea among users. Not really bothered by that fact, Facebook today announced another standalone app, this time for Groups.

Available on Android and iOS, the new app will let you see all your Facebook Groups in one place, with those that you use more often being at the top. Moreover, you’ll be able to create new groups with ease, quickly share photos and updates, track and control notifications, and discover new groups (based on Pages you like).

Facebook doesn’t force anyone to use its Groups app - at least for the time being - so you can continue to use the Groups section that’s included in the main Facebook app. Those who want to give the Groups app a try can find it via Apple App Store and Google Play Store at the source links below. The app seems to be available all around the world.

Will you be using the Groups app on your smartphone? Or do you think the main Facebook app and the Messenger app are enough?
