Expansys Portugal starts taking pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S4, reveals price in Euros
Wondering what the Samsung Galaxy S4 will go for in Euros? The first indication of what to expect is coming from the Portuguese arm of smartphone retailer Expansys. The handset hawker's website is now accepting pre-orders for the upcoming Android flagship device which is available in White Frost and Black Mist.

The 16GB version of the Samsung Galaxy S4 can be reserved for 689.99 EUR  ($884.71 USD) from Expansys. In the U.S., AT&T is going to be offering the phone for $249.99 while pre-orders for the carrier start on April 16th. T-Mobile will allow you to make a down payment of $99 while paying off the balanced in monthly installments of $20 over 24 months, and the phone will be available starting May 1st.

As for Expansys, while we know that the Portugal arm is taking pre-orders now, the retailer's web site doesn't reveal an actual launch date for the phone.

Thanks, Sergio!

I'd wait and see what Google I/O offers this year before dropping $700+ on this phone unlocked.

That is one expensive piece of poorly built smartphone! Got burned by the S3 (original cost plus cost of new screen to fix crack on frame so I could sell it as A Grade way more than this..ouch) and not going there ever again. Good luck Samsung and Samsung fans.... Before you start hating, my cracked S3 was featured for weeks by PA, including pic and I am sure if you search you can still find the article on here. Would not pay £1 for a Samsung crap built plastic smartphone ever again! XZ and HTC One get my vote and any performance advantages the S4 may or may not have is hardly important to ordinary peeps like me!

Would you rather have glass that shatters or aluminum that gets chips/dents from short drops? Buy a case or insurance. The uber premium iPhone known for it's build quality is on of the most fragile smart phones ever.

He isn't talking about drops, the Galaxy S III had a faulty batch(?) that came with cracks on faux metal rim around the phone without even being dropped, i went to see it when it came out on a store and guess what? It was cracked on the corner, and where it was it couldn't be droped.

Stop bitching about the damn build quality. If you don't like it don't buy it!!!! Go get your amazing htc one/xperia z/lumia 920/iphone 5 or w/e phone that is SOOOO superiorly built and people who actually care about the inside of a phone (and screen) will buy this gs4.

i guess this would be the version with Snapdragon 600, but in Pakistan, the Exynos Octa Core version is available for preorder with a price of Rs 99990 which is exactly US $1010 and the device will be delivered on the second day of international launch. the expected delivery date is 30th April. and im pretty sure within a week the price will drop to somewhat around Rs 75000, US $ 757, because same thing happened last year when S3 came.

I find it so funny that android fanboys criticized iphone users for so long. That ol' Karma will always get you in the end.
