Early Galaxy S4 adopters in Korea miffed about the launch of a Snapdragon 800 version with LTE-A

The one-percenters, or those who had early access to the Samsung Galaxy S4 on its home turf of South Korea, are now getting angry in their turn, as the rumored S4 with faster Snapdragon 800 processor and LTE Advanced download speeds is fast approaching. It might very well be this mule you see on the right , that was snapped by a blogger last night at Samsung's Premiere event.

One buyer commented: “I might have not purchased the Galaxy S4 and waited for the newest model if I knew my smartphone did not run on the LTE Advanced network”.

LTE Advanced can reach down to 1 Gbps download speeds, which is magnitudes higher than what we have now as carrier networks. Korea's SK Telecom has announced its LTE Advanced speeds might be ready for the summer, though the initial deadline was September, so those subscribers who purchased the regular LTE version of the S4 must be pretty peeved now. Watch a demo of LTE Advanced download speeds that are to go up in Sweden as well.
