Last month, one of Sony's older flagship smartphones, namely the
Xperia XZ was on sale at Amazon for $400. Considering the phone was launched in the United States last year for $700, we thought that was a pretty good deal for Sony fans.
One month later, Amazon and B&H have decided the Xperia XZ must be put on sale once again, but for an even lower price. Starting this weekend, Sony Xperia XZ can be had for just $315 at either of the two US retailers.
The unlocked model comes with US warranty, but it will only work on GSM carriers in the country (so no Sprint and Verizon). Since the Sony Xperia XZ 32GB usually sells for around $400, you'll be saving $85 if you decide to go for the deal.
And if you're worried about software support, Sony is expected to provide Xperia XZ users with an Android 8.0 Oreo update at some point. For the time being, the more recent
Xperia XZ Premium is getting the update, but other Xperia smartphones will follow soon.
