With the impending arrival of the Galaxy Note 7, it's only natural for carriers and retailers to "get rid" of their dusted Galaxy Note 5 inventories. Hence, that's the perfect time to grab that Note 5 you've always been dreaming about.

Well, Dailysteals has this nifty ongoing deal that allows you to grab last year's top phablet for $499.99. Considering that the Note 5 is still rather pricey on the major carriers, we'd consider this one a pretty sweet deal. For comparison, T-Mobile is selling the Note 5 for $789.99, Verizon has it listed for $696, while AT&T has put a $739.99 price on its head, meaning that you save at least 28%!

Have in mind that we are talking about the N920C variation of the device, which supports the following LTE bands: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 17, 18, 19, 20, and 26. The device is not a refurbished one, it's new, though it's an open box one. The deal will be going on for 25 more days, so you have plenty of time to decide whether you want a Note 5 or not.

Not when the Note 4 (still very viable) is available refurbished for $190.

Note 7 is not ugly. But I am not a edge person either . I hope Samsung brings back the flat screen with the note 8.

That's what I like the flat screen and flat side and back. Not those ugly curves and gimmicks bells and whistles. Just plain and simple.
