Deal: The Daydream View headset is half off on Google Store
The conditions of the deal/s may have changed since the initial publishing of this post.
The last time we reported about a Google Daydream View, Verizon offered the headset for 70% off, a great deal if you were looking for a VR headset to go with your high-end smartphone. If you missed Verizon's promo, here is another one that you might not want to skip even if it's not really on par.
Google offers the Daydream View headset on its own Store for just $49, a discount of 50% off the original $99 price. Before buying one though here are some of the phones that are compatible with Google's Daydream View: Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+, Asus ZenFone AR, LG V30, Moto Z Force and Moto Z2 Force, as well as the ZTE Axon 7. For the complete list of Daydream View supported phones, make sure to check out the Google Store.
The Daydream View enables consumers to step into the world of VR (virtual reality) without having to spend too much (assuming they already own a compatible smartphone). This is the second-generation VR headset launched by Google, but it's the first to be available in three color options: Charcoal, Coral, and Fog.
If you're thinking of buying one, you can find more details about how it performs in comparison with the original model and what it has to offer in our Daydream View hands-on.
