Circle November 14th on your calendar as the launch date for LG G Watch R at Sprint
The LG G Watch R, the version of the LG G Watch with a round face, will be launching via Sprint on November 14th. The Android Wear powered timepiece can pair with any Android smartphone running Android 4.3 or higher, in order to bring you notifications of phone calls and messages on your wrist. The watch offers protection against dust and water with an IP57 certification. That means the watch can lie in a tank of water no deeper than 3.2 feet, for no longer than 30 minutes, and come out of it totally unscathed.

The LG G Watch R allows users to change their watch bands and is actually the first smartwatch with a perfectly round display (sorry, Motorola Moto 360, but you are not perfectly round). The 1.3 inch screen has a resolution of 320 x 320, and is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor. Also included is 512MB of RAM and 4GB of non-expandable storage. A 410mAh battery keeps the wheels turning.

Sprint will be offering the timepiece for $299 beginning next Friday. With Sprint Easy Pay, you can make 12 monthly payments of $25 each.

Someone wants two day battery life Or who prefers a more masculine/sporty design Or who doesnt want a "flat tire" They both have their pros and cons Personally I'm not interested in either yet

I want one... but I'm not willing to spend actual money on a smart watch just yet. They don't have the killer features that I absolutely have to have.. right now, they're cool toys that everyone who grew up watching James Bond gets excited about. I will wait a generation or two first before I buy.

It wasn't until I saw the watch in person that made me want it. Much nicer than the Moto 360 after seeing both. I'd change the band to metal instead of leather of course.

I picked the LG Watch R up at AT&T Friday and I have to say, I am soo happy with it. Definitely has a lot of maturing to do, but even in its current state it's awesome. Pricey at 300, but worth it to me.

Those promo pictures made the watch look so much better.
