Canadians get Boxing Day deals on the Surface Pro 4, HP Elite x3 and the Lumia 550
Boxing Day is a holiday that takes place on December 26th in some countries like Canada. Originally held to celebrate employees receiving gifts (in boxes) from their employers, it now has grown into another excuse for stores to hold more sales. One such store is the Microsoft Store. There, you can find devices on sale like the Microsoft Surface Pro 4, HP Elite x3, and the Microsoft Lumia 550.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 tablet is powered by Windows 10 Pro, and carries a 12.3-inch display. During the sale, those in Canada will be able to take up to $300 CAD off the price of the slate. For example, the 128GB Surface Pro 4 powered by the Intel Core i5 and carrying 4GB of RAM, is priced at $999 CAD during the sale ($738 USD). That is reduced from the pre-sale price of $1,279 CAD ($945 USD). The 256GB Surface Pro 4, powered by the Intel Core i7 and featuring 8GB of RAM, is priced at $1,899 CAD ($1,402 USD). The regular price is $2,099 CAD ($1,549 USD).

Also on sale is the Microsoft Lumia 550 handset. Unlocked, the phone can be purchased for $89 CAD ($66 USD). That is down 47% from the usual price of $169 CAD ($125 USD). The Lumia 550 features a 4.7-inch display with a 720 x 1280 resolution.

Lastly, the most powerful Windows 10 Mobile handset ever built is on sale as part of a productivity bundle. The HP Elite x3 with a Desk Dock and an HP Elite Lap Dock can be yours for a price of $1,668 CAD ($1,231 USD). That saves you $130 CAD ($96 USD) off the regular price of the phone and the two docks. The handset is powered by the Snapdragon 820 chipset, and carries a 5.96-inch display with a 1449 x 2560 resolution. The Desk Dock allows you to use Continuum to have your Elite x3 drive a desktop-like PC. The Lap Dock allows your Elite x3 to power a 12.5-inch notebook style mobile computer.

The sale prices remain in effect until January 3rd. If interested, click on the sourcelink.

Judging by the amount of comments, there is no interest and the price is WAY too high. Come down to $500 for people to consider the x3
