Apple iPhone XR price, deals and financing at Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, Costco and Best Buy
Apple is done and dusted with all of its iPhone XR pre-order details, pricing and availability as what may prove to be itsbest-seller for the year just went up for grabs. It is now time for Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint to hop on the deals bus.
In addition, there are a few notable promos from popular retailers like Best Buy or Costco, and we are rounding up the ones announced so far below for your added convenience.

Apple iPhone XR price and promos on Verizon
Verizon actually has a pretty generous offer on the iPhone XR. While AT&T requires that you add a DirecTV subscription to give you a pseudo-BOGO deal of $700 in bill credits, Verizon gives you $750 with fewer strings attached. Buy any iPhone XR on the Verizon device payment plan and get up to $750 off the second one of equal or lesser value.
Needless to say, you need at least one line of service to be activated on one of the phones, but there are no trade-in requirements, and the deal will be applied over the course of the payment plan in bill credits. In addition, you can get $100 off an iPad and $50 off an Apple Watch (one per person), as well as 25% off iPhone XR cases until October 25th.

AT&T is not going for any jugulars, as usual, but it does offer its recent $700 deal "BOGO" promo for flagship phones towards the iPhone XR as well. You'll have to buy both XR handsets on AT&T Next with a wireless plan of at least $80/month when combined after discount and have DIRECTV service which starts from $29.99/month. The $700 then will be applied to the second handset in credits after two bill cycles.

The presser that T-Mobile sent us entices with "get 4 lines of unlimited T-Mobile Essentials and four iPhone XR for just $40 a month per line with autopay." If it sounds too good to be true, that's because the offer requires a trade-in, and the said $40 phone plus plan monthly tag is for the basic unlimited plan of T-Mobile, and for the span of 36 months.
If you are fine with all those caveats, you can trade in your old iPhone 7 to iPhone 8+, the Galaxy S8, Note 8, Google Pixel/XL or Pixel 2/2XL, and an LG V30 or G7 for up to $390 in bill credits. The iPhone XR will then be had for $0 down and $20.84 per month for 36 months leading to a full pre-credit price of $749.99. If you get the maximum trade-in value, that will be applied in the form of $10.83 in bill credits per month towards the iPhone XR payment, essentially netting you the handset for about ten bucks a month.
Add a basic T-Mobile Essentials plan of $30 a month to the mix, and you reach the "four iPhone XR for just $40 a month per line" promise. Plenty of caveats, but if you like T-Mobile's service, and have been wondering what to do with your old phone before you get the iPhone XR, the first deal on Apple's newest handset will fit the bill.

Sprint offers its usual leasing deal that will allow customers to get the iPhone XR gratis with eligible trade-in and Sprint Flex lease. The base iPhone XR can be had for free, after $31.25 bill credits, while the eligible trade-ins for it are iPhone 7 and up, the Galaxy S9 or S8, Note 8, the LG G7, or Google's Pixel and Pixel 2/XL. Pretty cool, and you can trade that up in a year to keep the cycle going.

Select Costco locations will have the iPhone XR for up to $390 off, after a trade-in rebate for your old phone via T-Mobile. You need to submit the rebate request in the link below with the COSTCOAPPLEXR promo code to get the goods, and you will get a pre-paid MasterCard in the amount within the span of 6-8 weeks.
Why via T-Mobile? Well, your new iPhone XR purchase needs to be used on a postpaid plan with the carrier, and you need to trade in your eligible old phone on the same order as the XR. You can get up to $390, depending on the condition for the iPhone 7 to 8 Plus, the Galaxy S8 series, Note8, Pixel or Pixel 2/XL, and LG V30 or G7, depending on their condition, of course.
Older phones from these makers will net you $250, and if you really want to get rid of a clunker, Costco and T-Mobile will trade you, say, an iPhone SE or Galaxy S5, for $150 towards the price of a new iPhone XR. This is the same deal that T-Mobile offers in stores and online for the new iPhone XR, with the big difference that you are getting the trade-in amount in one lump sum, instead of bill credits.

Long story short, if you go to Sam's Club and buy the iPhone XR on a payment plan with either Verizon, AT&T, or Sprint, you'll get a $100 gift card towards your grocery shopping for the week, which is as good of a deal as any you are likely to ever get from Apple on an iPhone.
The XR starts off from $749 for the 64-gigger, a 128GB variant is $799, while the 256GB version costs the whopping $899, though we are fairly certain Apple will sell a boatload of those anyway.

Best Buy isn't going all-out this time around, and will simply give you am up to $275 gift card but requires a trade-in of an iPhone 7 Plus and up for that. That's not the most generous trade-in offer out there, but is still a way to get rid of your aging handset for Apple's newest iPhone XR. The deal is in-store only to boot.
