Back to black: sizzling new renders show us a spellbindingly beautiful iPhone 7 in Space Black

Black is the new, eh... black.

After we heard that Apple might be re-introducing an iPhone 5-esque black color option for its iPhone 7 lineup, lots of artists took their virtual brushes in hand and quickly depicted their representations of what a Space Black iPhone 7 might look like. Spoiler alert: it will likely look magnificent!

One of these artists is Martin Hajek. We are big fans of his work and his latest portion of renders is once again a marvelous one.

It won't be too far-fetched to say that his depiction of a black-colored iPhone is our favorite so far, and we are hopeful that the real deal will end up looking like Hajek's newest art. We've also heard that a dark blue paintjob might get introduced by Apple.

He has also thrown in a touch-sensitive home button and a lightning headphone set. There are rumors everywhere that these might end up in the iPhone 7's feature list.

Check out the renders below and make sure to share your opinion about them.

Also make sure to head to the links below and check out our dedicated rumor round-ups about the iPhone 7, the iPhone 7 Plus, and iPhone 7 Pro right below.

You guys should at least proof read once before posting anything. At least the title if you can't be bothered reading the whole thing. To be fair, the black done does look pretty sleek but I would never choose looks over features. The bezel is my number 1 concern with iPhones.

I like very much black color and dark blue is nice too. At least we will see more black and dark blue phones if Apple use this colors because many companies copies their colors. At least. I'm not an Apple fan. But if it is true that after Apple stop black color many companies did the same: Huawei, OnePlus...

The Galaxy S7 was praised as the perfect phone and it's basically the same as the S6. Go somewhere with that mess!

I think using the good design for 2 years is far better than using bad design for 3 years.

They changed their approach due to the fact that people are holding on to their devices for longer. Not exactly a bad way to do it. What's the point in doing every other year and that's not how buying habits match up? Granted, that should not be used as an excuse for stagnation.

...'basically the same'? Have you ever seen the S6 and S7 side by side in person? While made out of the same materials, Samsung greatly refined the overall design with the S7/S7 Edge. You can actually tell they are two different devices.

Gosh! You are a hateful stupid human. Wait, are you even human? Looking "similar" is one thing, looking "exactly" the same if different. The iPhone 6S is an exact copy on the outside as the iPhone 6, as the SE is to the 5S, as the 4S was to the 4, as the 3GS was to the 3G.. The S7 doesn't look exactly like the S6. You can repeat it 1Billion times until you run out of air and die, and it still won't make it true.

Tell me one good flagship in black or dark blue exept Samsung Galaxy S7. I do not like Samsung phones because of lagging TouchWiz. Only HTC 10 is in black, but i do not like the design and LCD display. AMOLED is better IMO. Every person have his own vision.

They did not stop making black. Its just after going with metal casing, they simply didn't paint them black. every OEM still offers a black phone. You're just blind!

When was the last time Apple made a black phone? The 4S right? How many years ago was that. Everything since goign metal was grey, which is the natural color of aluminum. They simply didn't paint them black as most OEM's don't.

My point is that i like black color much more. Silver or dark grey is so boring and simple. Like Mercedes silver. Black or especially something like dark blue is gives some sexy look at the phone. And i do not use covers to hide beauty of the design. I speak only for the color. Not for entire design of the phone. IPhone 6 and 6s look sexy for woman or gay. Man needs something morr solid and not so rounded. My pereonal opinion. I'm not trolling and fighting with iPhone users. They have their point of view and that is their right.

The iPhone 5 was black too, but it became space grey with the 5S after "scuffgate"

Spellblindingly beautiful......lmao. Looks EXACTLY the same as the 6 and 6s. They just moved the antenna lines and put on an even bigger camera hump. Same old s**t with its huge bezels. Get your tongue out of Apple's behind you massive share bumpers

"back to black" Aye, throwback to Amy Winehouse and the black does look nice but will get scuffed the hell up.

If it is that very same coating as that condensed carbon space black on the Apple watch, it's going to be very hard. How well it's going to play with matte aluminium instead of glossy stainless steel is a mystery for now.

I see black iPhone 5. They're scuffed up, and dinged up and it looks like a weapon that was brought back from a battle - it's dignifying to see a device that looks so good especially with its wear and tear. I envy those that got the 5 in black - I got the 5s after my 3GS - so I missed out. Really happy to see black comeback. Let's hope it looks fun metallic black as iPhone 5 did.
