Asus Transformer Prime available for pre-order on Amazon

Asus Transformer Prime available for pre-order on Amazon
The Asus Transformer Prime is not your ordinary Android tablet, and what makes it special is that it will be the first device on the market to be powered by the mighty NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor. And if you want to be among the first to lay their hands on this powerful tablet, be aware that Amazon already has the Asus Transformer Prime listed on pre-order.

The 32GB version of the tablet is available for $492.20 while $584.22 will get you twice as much storage capacity. You can also pick between the two colors that are available – champagne and amethyst gray. Unfortunately, Amazon does not give any clues regarding the Transformer Prime's estimated arrival time, but those who pre-order a unit will be notified as soon as further information becomes available. And they might not have to wait for too long, as the tablet is expected to launch within the first weeks of December.

Anyone thinking of taking advantage of the deal? Do not hesitate to brag about it by dropping a comment for us below.

I wish I had the cash :( I'm worried that if i get an Android tablet, Windows 8 will be released and make my W7 laptop, and Android tablet both look obsolete.

Win 8 is still 12 months (or more) away. It is also likely that they will be significantly higher priced with a full OS. If cash is tight, wait for a sale. Also, the Nvidia CEO believes that quad core tabs will be under $300 in a few months time. Start saving now.
