Apple to begin accepting pre-orders for the Apple Watch on April 10th. Launch date unveiled

Well, folks – it has been 7 long months since Apple announced its upcoming wearable at the September 2014 keynote – the same event, where the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus were first uncovered. Back then, Apple showed us what the new wearable will be capable of, and left us with an estimated launch somewhere in "early 2015".

Well, after many speculations, the 9th of March event was announced, and subsequently – finally arrived. Needless to say, after presenting a pretty impressive new MacBook Air model, Cupertinians finally shined the spotlight on the Apple Watch for a second time – to remind us of its features, and to give us the anticipated launch date and pricing for the various Watch models.

So, first of all, pre-orders will start on April 10th, after which date curious users will have the chance to sample a Watch before pre-ordering in any one of Apple's official stores. The gadget will start shipping on April 24th, hitting the following countries first:

  • Australia
  • Hong Kong
  • Canada
  • Japan
  • China
  • United Kingdom
  • France
  • United States
  • Germany
