Apple is expected to sell no-contract unlocked iPhone 4 models in Canada
Naturally there would be an abundance of US consumers who would most likely purchase an iPhone 4 come launch day for the contract price of $199 for the 16GB model. On the flip side, others may be more inclined to purchase it at the full cost to keep them contract free, but of course they're bound by using AT&T's service to get the iPhone 4 to work properly. However, our friends to the north in Canada are going to be joining the UK in having the chance to buy an unlocked model for them to use on just about every corner of the world. So buying it for the full price over there might not be a bad thing after all when you consider you can even jump over the fence into the US and start using it. As there will be a good amount of people eying this, there is no word on its pricing right now, but some speculations can be gathered seeing that an unlocked 8GB iPhone 3GS is going for $549 Canadian dollars ($534).
