Check out this real-life preview of the iPhone X in action before Apple pulls it down

UPDATE: There's been a reupload of the whole video, complete with the Apple Pay checkout by the way of iPhone X, starting at 2:50 into the clip.

Apple won't be very pleased that a humble fashion vlogger went to visit her dad on its campus, and uploaded a video of his iPhone X in action, so enjoy it while you can, as the original YouTube clip was already taken down.

There is a short preview of the design, the camera interface, some apps like the calendar, the placement of the torch and other toggles, and even a real-life Animoji demo. And, yes, don't you dare call it anything but iPhone X (ten).

Last but not least, since her dad reportedly workeds on Apple Pay, there was a nice little demo how mobile payment works with Face ID which has been cut from the original here, but a video is worth a million words, so take a quick look for yourself before Apple pulls the plug on that corner of the Internet, too.

If Apple did not sanction her filming then her father deserves to get fired.

This is sanctioned by Apple. The quality is there including the inability to spell September at the start. This kid is the epitome of Apples target audience. She can name the chemicals in her makeup but can't spell. If you think Apple didn't allow this you're crazy. She wouldn't have been allowed to record video inside if that were the case. By the way, that camera app was an f'ing nightmare. A 'full' screen that uses thick virtual bezels is hilarious. Keep the design fails coming Apple! That unibrow was disgusting in action. Too funny

"By the way, that camera app was an f'ing nightmare. A 'full' screen that uses thick virtual bezels is hilarious" Haha you clearly aren't very bright :D maybe think next time before troll? Of course it uses bezels, thats the size of the actual camera photo. You know it doesn't have super wide camera which fill the edges :D Seriously these trolls are unbeliavable stupid sometimes.

Not sure if you are being sarcastic or just clueless. And calling people stupid while having spelling mistakes in the sentence is counterproductive. You Note 8 doesn't default to a super wide camera either and the camera viewfinder takes up the full screen (no unibrow by the way) and then the resulting picture comes up with next to no virtual bezel. So... Yes... I think Apple's design choice for their camera.app is a heaping pile of garbage.

What are you talking about? Note 8 camera app has huge black bezels just like every phone in the market. And when you view the photos you took they also have huge black bezels. Seriously are you joking? The camera photos aspect ratio is very far from the screen of current smartphones.

Really not that impressed. I remember a time Apple fans and fanboys alike swore they would never buy an oversized phone as they ridiculed Samsung and other Android manufacturers. My how hipocritical Apple fans are as they line up in droves for the next big thing from Apple

We can say that about glass backs(iPhone 4/4s). We can also say that about the notch. The S9 is rumored to be coming with a notch...........at the bottom. How about that useless portrait mode and dual cameras? Water resistant phones, talk to Sony. Wireless charging? Talk to palm. Big screen? I believe HTC started that! This not all started with Apple, but it was something started with other manufacturers. Just because a phone runs Android don’t mean they are one of the same. All of these manufacturers are competing with each other.

Yeah, yeah. And the S8 was supposed to have no headphone jack. Nobody is copying that notch.

The S9 is not rumored to come with a Notch. Samsung filed a patent for a notched FPS and a Notch camera array for a phone (not actually the S9). Both were filed in 2016. In plenty of time for such to appear on the S8. Notice the S8 didn't have it and the S9 isn't either. So you don't believe Apple rumors, but you believe Samsung ones? Gotcha! Here we have a Kikosheepocrite!

In this article -https://www.galaxyclub.nl/2017/09/samsung-design-patent-sensor-cutout-display it shows that Samsung applied for this patent in May of 2016. PA posted another article today saying, that there could be a notched FPS https://www.phonearena.com/news/Patent-hints-at-Samsung-Galaxy-S9-having-a-display-notch-with-an-embedded-fingerprint-sensor_id99204 The source here -https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=auto&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.galaxyclub.nl%2F2017%2F10%2Fsamsung-patent-vingerafdrukscanner-notch&edit-text=&act=url says the application was applied for in April 2016. Now, the S7's were already released to the public, which means these applications were submitted in tim for such application to be done to the S8's and maybe Samsung considered it. Or maybe they just applied to make Appel think this was their next move. WHO KNOWS. What we can tell is, since these were applied for before the S8, they had time to implement them in the S8 and yet they didn't. So why would they wait to do it in the S9? Because entertain us with your profound ability to reason and come up with the most pathetic Apple-laden excuse you can think of. It is obvious Samsung considered this design. But to claim its a rumor that some site simply said is bogus. Its not a rumor! What is a fact is Samsung consider this design for a phone. We have no idea what phone. Because the documents don't even mention any specific device. So applying it to the S9 is some major reach for strings buddy. But go with that delusion if it makes you happy. After the boos and signs Apple has gotten with the iPhone X, I assure you Samsung won't make the same mistake.

Leave Palm out of this. R.I.P. :'( Actually Apple is doing the webOS gestures to minimize card/page & multitask. 2009, I miss you.

What are you saying? The beauty with iPhone X is that it offers great big screen and amazing hardware in very compact size. This is iPhone 8 size phone, Yes i wouldn't buy iPhone 8 plus size phone.

Okay, so, I was skeptical at first but the more I see it in action the more I like it.....though video will be much smaller than the listed screen size... I was thinking of taking advantage of the Note 8 sale at Best Buy, $250 off, but this make contemplate taking an iPhone dive. The WebOS theft also looks good on this device

Funny thing is that my iPhone 7 was much smoother on iOS 10.3 than it is now on 11.0.3. App animations occasionally drop frames whereas they never used to.

I'm a simple man. I see a notch (regardless of the manufacturer!), I press dislike / thumb down / minus / whatever.

it looks Good But this is just a simple Apple promotion video to make it look like a Vlog or so. So until it is in the wild we will have to refrain from passing judgement on its operation till the reviews. And No, Not PAs review but other legitimate sites that have a grading standard like GSM arena or Cnet , Mkdhb.
