Another OnePlus 5 teaser confirms the name of the flagship killer and release timeframe

OnePlus has just published yet another teaser for its upcoming flagship smartphone. The teaser reveals two pieces of information like the name of the phone and the release timeframe.

If you had any doubts that the next smartphone coming from the Chinese company will be called OnePlus 5, then the teaser should put them to rest. The “Hello 5” teaser also suggest the device will be released on the market this summer, just like the previous OnePlus flagships: “Hey Summer! Give me five!”

Although no other details about the OnePlus 5 have been confirmed by the Chinese company, there are lots of rumors running around that suggest the smartphone will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and 6GB RAM.

Moreover, the OnePlus 5 is said to pack a more than decent 3,600 mAh battery, along with dual-camera setup and a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with unknown resolution.

Since OnePlus is known for releasing “flagship killers,” we expect the upcoming OnePlus 5 to be priced at around $500 or slightly lower. Time will tell if any (or all) of the details based on these reports were accurate.

"...there are lots of rumors running around that suggest the smartphone will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and 6GB RAM..." Certain upgrades in latest smartphones are confirmed event without oem announcement. Like latest soc, keep same amount of ram as it was in last gen device. Just quit on reporting these unnecessary & so-called rumors.

Haha really funny , flagship killer ? Seriously this junk costs as much as new flagships like LG, SAMSUNG, MOTO, HUAWEI UND SONY but the quality, customer service, OS, camera and etc. as good as wiko and Archos and ZTE . A fair price for this junk ( i mean OnePlus 5 ) is maximum 150€ more than 150€ ist just stupid. No idea why some stupid people pays that much money for this junk.

500 or 499 is too much. They must stick to 399 or they will lose their current edge. The price was the main thing that drew people to it, aside from specs. (including the innovative 6GB ram, while all others only had 3 or max 4GB) they must go 8GB ram, SD 835, 64GB ROM or 128 ideally and keep it at 399 or at the most 429. Anything more it will flop. And i have a OP3 now.
