Another Acer phone gets caught; to be announced at the MWC
Yesterday, we told you about the first Acer-branded phone, the DX900, which totally resembles the Eten model that goes by the same name. It turned out that our hopes for more Acer phones at the MWC have had a result and today the first spy photo of another Acer phone has leaked. It is expected that the device will be officially announced at the expo this month. We have to admit that it looks really weird, because of its keyboard, which is said to be a swivel one, but in our view this is more of a QWERTY module that can be attached to the body.

However, beside the leaked photo nothing else is known, no word on the specs or the operating system. In addition, the source that has provided the picture claims that Acer is preparing the announcement of yet another device at the MWC, which is said to be designed as another competitor of the iPhone. To tell you the truth, we’re very eager to find out exactly what Acer has prepared for us and we’re already counting the days until the event.

The only way I could see that being a swivel is if it flipped vertically and then slid up into the back of the phone. If you notice there is a ridge on the left side of the keyboard but not the right, so as to fit into the back. Perhaps it uses a tilt feature like the n97. Just a theory.
