Android 7.0 Nougat update for Samsung Galaxy Note 5 starts arriving in Europe

The Galaxy Note 5 is the latest Note series smartphone available on the market, and one of the devices that Samsung has decided to update to Android 7.0 Nougat. However, this is only the third Samsung smartphone to receive the update after the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S6 (and all their variations).

Since the Galaxy Note 5 was not made available in Europe for a very long time, it made sense for Samsung to start to push the Nougat update in the United States. Now that all U.S. carriers have deployed the update, Samsung is focusing on bringing Android 7.0 Nougat for the Galaxy Note 5 to additional territories.

We can confirm the update has popped up in Romania, but it might be available in other European countries as well. The Android 7.0 Nougat update weighs in at around 1.3GB, so make sure you have enough free storage before attempting to download it.

Besides Nougat, the update adds the March security patch, which a bit old considering Google has already released the correspondent security update for the month of May.
