An iPhone 6 running Android? This is as close as it gets

The Apple iPhone 6 is enjoying tremendous sales success as all reports point out to record-breaking demand for the 4.7-inch gadget, but what is it that makes the iPhone 6 special? Sure, iOS 8 with its sleek looks and fast operation is a big part of it, but the outstanding, premium sleek design of the iPhone 6 is also a decisive factor for many.

But what if you want that same iPhone 6 style, only running on Android? It's all possible in one country, and if you guessed China, you guessed correctly.

A shameless iPhone 6 clone named Dakele 3 has appeared in the People's Republic, and it boasts a very similar, metal body, equally positioned buttons, the round home key from the iPhone, even the plastic strips for the antenna that many have criticized. Heck, even the camera is protruding slightly.

It's a shameless, but masterful clone. The Dakele 3 is expected to to on sale in December, and it ships with an unknown version of Android (likely, 4.4 KitKat, skinned with Dakele's own custom UI), and a 64-bit, octa-core MediaTek MT6572 chip (some rumors even speculate that it might have a Snapdragon 8xx version) with 3 gigs of RAM. It's also got a 13-megapixel main camera using the popular Sony IMX214 sensor with an f/2.0 lens.

We don't know if it's as thin as the iPhone, neither do we know if it will spur the same 'bend-gate' scandals, but all in all, it looks like a very high-end affair. Would you get it?
