An Apple iPhone 6 plus a professional photographer equals pure awesomeness

Meet Kevin Russ. He is a professional photographer that fancies his trusty Apple iPhone 6 and usually takes it alongside his time-tested Canon F-1 DSLR camera when he is out in the wild. What's more, he usually leaves his professional camera aside and takes photos truly awesome photos with Cupertino's flagship. Yes, you read that right, Kevin Russ is one of the many proves that it's not the camera, but the photographer who takes a good picture.
Of course, most of the images Russ has taken during his long treks in the wild have been edited to some extent. You got it right, the photographer also admits that most of the tweaks he has applied to his awesome photos have been done entirely on the very same iPhone, with the aid of VSCO Cam, one of the more notable photography apps available for iOS and Android. What's more, the latter has been used to upload said images to the web.

I am not impressed cause any professional photographer with the right software can enhance any picture. It's not the iPhone 6, it's the professional skills with the post picture editing. So yes it's the photographer. I am sure he can do what with a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 or a Google Nexus 6. -_-

LOL. If you thing that this "pro" was not paid by Apple then you are delusional. The same goes for this entire article. Peeps, you need to know that whenever you see the name Apple or iPhone or iPad ... all this is PAID in some form or another.

They are everywhere! But why isn't my 1020 in this comparison, but why didn't they include 1020, but why, but why.. Getting sick and tired of it. No one cares for your old 1020. The new king is note 4 with 6 plus closely.

Why is it that you are the one either talking down on any wp related news or bringing them into the comments? I'm pretty sure it's you that everyone is tired of seeing comments to from. You are like a child with ADD. now quiet down or I'll tell your mom my to give you the spanking you need and crave.

Judging by your comments, you seem one of the most "butthurt" users on PA.

+1000 The type of phone doesn't matter. The location doesn't matter. It's all about the skill of the photographer. A good photographer can do better with any smartphone than an amateur with an SLR. So yeah, people should start taking more pictures and working up their skills.

Spoken like someone that actually knows something about photography*. But we should all listen to you right? The one that thinks a camera is capable just because a "pro" uses it. A pro could use a 50 euros camera and take better pictures than you with your beloved iPhone.

Give him a 2MP camera phone and bing him to dump yard...... Let's see your skills. Dude then why professional photographer take photos with their SLR, why why....... I correct u, best photography means: good place + good camera + good skills + good timing = good photography

I'm not saying the iPhone doesn't take great pictures (I'm an Android guy), but those 8 MP photos will look terrible when printed out or scaled out for larger stuff. A professional can make almost any modern camera/phone take good pictures. The iPhone is the best at taking pictures for a phone, but I don't see why any professional would use it unless they are a blogger.

The best in a phone? I don't think so. Of the best? Yes. Lumina 1020, 1520 and Note 4 are the kings and all other phones simply bow down to them.
