AT&T offers settlement to NJ customers regarding ETF
AT&T customers living in the state of New Jersey may soon be getting a piece of the pie in the form of an $18 million settlement with AT&T. For those subscribers who paid a flat-rate Early Termination Fee between January 1, 1998 and November 4, 2009 – you may be entitled to get some money from the latest ETF class action lawsuit. Customers can choose to be part of the class or excluded from the settlement altogether. The number two wireless carrier strongly denied of committing any wrongdoing and state that no court has found them committing any wrongdoing regarding the fees. Instead of battling it out in a costly courtroom venture, they’ve decided to avoid the burden and cost of further litigation by agreeing to a settlement. If you feel that you qualify for it, you can go to their web site and find out how you can make a claim.
