A game of apps: here are the best Game of Thrones apps for fans and followers

Ah, Game of Thrones — that little miracle of an HBO TV series that has become a worldwide phenomenon. Who would've guessed that a fantasy story, which is a genre generally reserved for a niche of hardcore readers, would actually grow to become one of the most watched shows on TV? And we have to say, we're not even halfway through the 6th season yet, but we are already getting bummed out at the thought that in just 6 weeks, it will be over, and we will be back to waiting another year for the next set of episodes.

Anyway, with Game of Thrones so permeated through pop culture, you'd expect the app stores to be flooded with various apps, made by fans and for fans of both the show and books. We dug through them and picked out our favorite ones. With the apps listed below, you can get detailed info about characters and locations, follow the TV show through a detailed map, chat with quotes by various characters, or just plain do the “Shame” walk, complete with the bell sound. Yup.
