5 things that would've made the Xperia XZ1 a better smartphone

As expected, Sony dropped a brand-new flagship at IFA 2017. Well, two actually, if you count the comfortable Compact. But back to the point at hand — the Sony Xperia XZ1 is reliably and boringly predictable. Top of the line hardware crammed in a body shape that we've seen way too much by now, with no regard for current trends in the smartphone world.

Don't get us wrong — the Xperia XZ1 is a solid phone, it really is. And we can respect the fact that Sony refuses to jump on any bandwagons and instead does its own thing. Still, here are 5 things, which we believe would've made this flagship truly better.

For the past few hours, My S6 has gone absolutely crazy about XZ1. I wonder if he's in love with it? Beeping, Beeping and even more beeping! For a moment there, I thought North Korea launched a nuke on Japan or something, turns out Sony has launched yet another bloody Smartphone! What a relief, eh? I prefer to stay discreet over stuff I don't like or care, but this is getting in the realm of insanity. Muteing PhoneArena Twitter feed for now... They're likely going to bombard Twitter with LG V30 articles soon! Geeks, eh? G'Day!

Sony has done well with battery optimisation. The 2700 mAh battery lasts longer than phones with 3000+ mAh battery
