10 clever uses for an Android smartphone with NFC and NFC tags
NFC is mobile innovation's late bloomer. In fact, if it weren't for Apple Pay, the majority of smartphone owners probably wouldn't be aware that a miniature antenna inside their devices lets them do many clever things by programming NFC tags. No, you still cannot accomplish anything mind-blowing with those, unless you are an extreme technological enthusiast and automate the whole house like Billy G. But you can make tiny aspects of your life easier, at little cost, while feeling like you're experiencing a demo version of the Jetsons-like future that awaits our grandchildren.

So, here are ten neat things you can do with a smartphone and a NFC tag or two. When you blow through these ideas, check out Nick's 5 clever (and one creepy) uses for NFC tags.

I use a few NFC tags in combination with Tasker and it's quite handy and cheap. I do like it that the newest Airdock has NFC built in, so I will be getting one :)

I've used NFC only once to connect a Bluetooth headset. It's a great technology, though ;)
