My first Samsung Galaxy phone :)

Malki has owned it for less than 3 months before publishing this review

This is my first Samsung Galaxy phone. Before this, I had Lg gt540 Optimus. The s3 is incredible fast, ui is not lagging, all games are running on it without lags. Some peoples thinks, its design is ugly, but I think, the s3 is looking very good :)

Build quality 10/10 Very good build quality.

Reception 10/10

Call quality 10/10 The voice is very clear during the calls.

Internet 10/10 The browser is not lagging, its very smooth at the flash sites too :)

Multimedia 10/10 The display is very good, video playback is fantastik

Camera 9/10 The camera is very good, but sometimes it makes a little bit bad pictures.

UI speed 10/10 The UI is not lagging, it's very smooth :)

Everyday usage 9/10 Can't use with one hand, when you are walkig on the street.

Text input 10/10 The keyboard is very responsive :)

Display 10/10 The Amoled display is very good, i thing it's better than LCD dispays.

Battery 10/10 It can hold with one charge for one or two days.

Pros

• Very fast
• The gorilla glass is not scratching :)
• The phone is looking very good
• It's very smart

• Hard to use with one hand

nice mobile, i have installed android jellybean 4.2.1 on my samsung galaxy s3 that's smooth and nice work, no bug yeah :3 but the battery is too less work :( camera is nice, input is good, internet fast :)

BIG regret, like going back 20 years

I obsessed and agonised over this phone for nearly a year until I could afford to buy one outright. Now i am crying about it. Ok, its fantastic at everything......Except being a phone!! My reception is reminiscent of my first phone 20 years ago, I have NO signal in my house, garden, most places at work, etc and it drops out completely even in high area. While my old Nokia N95 proudly boasts a full signal with the same network.
Ive tried all the recommended settings to boost it, but nothing. I am gutted. Have no choice but to sell asap.

Build quality 6/10 solid and useable

Reception 1/10 Utter rubbish....Lined up with 5 other phones, Iphone 4 & 5, Nokia N95, Most basic Nokia and antique Sony Ericsson they ALL have signal, except the Galaxy S3

Call quality 5/10 Depends on signal!

Internet 10/10 Great.....on Wifi only

Multimedia 10/10

Camera 10/10

UI speed 9/10

Everyday usage 3/10 Great at everything....except phone and text

Text input 7/10 good choices on keybaord

Battery 8/10 Not as good as the 5 days with constant use I am used to with old phone, but I understand this is good for a smartphone. Minimum applications on.

Android 4.0 must be 4.2 very soon , however it is one of best smart phones that samsung has made them and i wish in the future to upgrade the Build quality to alaminium material

The (by far) best Smartphone i had! Trust me I'm an engineer! Smartphones i had so far are: iPhone 3G, 3Gs, 4s, 5, HTC One X, i9000 and i9100 and i was never so amazed by a Phone like with the Galaxy S3. Its worth every $ or € you spend on it!

Build quality 10/10 I know everyone says Build Quality is bad, Cheap plastic and so on. But thats not true! The plastic feels pleasant in your hand. It doesnt slip of your hand.

Reception 10/10 The phone with the best reception i had so far.

Call quality 10/10 It's fantastic!!!

Internet 10/10 The big display makes it a wonderful device to browse the internet.

Multimedia 10/10 Its comes with lots of codec support! And you can simply copy paste media into your device, what do you want more? (Not to mention the Wonderful Colors of the AMOLED Display when watching films).

Camera 10/10 One of the best Cellphone cams on market. Burst Shot is amazing!

UI speed 10/10 Well the quad-core processor does its job. A small tip for all android users, get Startupmanager to speed your phone up.

Everyday usage 10/10 You can do anything you want! No limitations!

Text input 10/10 Swype is the best Text Input i know so far, so nothing to say more.

Display 10/10 Two words: Super AMOLED! And is really super!!!

Battery 10/10 Well it got me 2 Work days, best achievement since i9000 for me.

i had it for about 10 months... and it is the best device i ever had, i had the GS2, then got iP4S, then got back to GS2, and now have the almighty GS3, absolutely amazing ! Gonna buy the GS4 next ^_^

Lots and Lots of Disappointments

The crappiest piece of junk i have ever owned. At first in the first few weeks i was totally in love with it, showing it off to anyone i knew but as time past by i started releasing problems that kept re occurring. My first problem was that suddenly my phone randomly got damaged in hardware and restarted in factory mode all by itself. This pissed me of a lot bcuase all my pictures and games and music etc had all been deleted. then my phones battery started draining rapidly even on sleeping mode making it last for half a day at moderate use. To make things worse, the cheap plastic has also started to peal of... now my once glorious gladiator phone that destroyed all phones looks like a piece of s**t with laggy movements and crap as battery. My advice, get the HTC One or any htc phone, don't trust Samsung to make the premium device because they will guaranty you a large disappointment. Even the iPhone would be a better solution (although that would be my last choice) . Don't buy this phone - Its not worth it

No disapointement

The best smartphone I ever owned so far.
I was owning an HTC desire and GS2 before this one, they were both great phones at their time. I hesitate quite a bit to switch from the GS2 to GS3 but, really, my user experience increased dramatically.
So no disappointment here, GS3 is a great phone.

Build quality 8/10 Ok, plastic isn't "premium". However the overall build quality is good. Never had any problem of scratches or anything. I dropped it accidentally several times and it was like nothing ever happened.

Reception 9/10 Good reception, nothing more, nothing less. Actually better than my colleague owning an iPhone 5

Call quality 9/10 Very good call quality

Internet 9/10 Very fast internet browsing with the stock browser but also with alternative ones

Multimedia 10/10 Tons of possibilities. I'm able to read all kinds od full HD videos without any lags, music etc. DLNA makes you hable to beam your videos on you TV in a click.

Camera 9/10 Very good. My friend were always amazed by the quality of the pictures I was able to shoot in the complete darkness (with flash of course)

UI speed 9/10 Quick and reactive

Everyday usage 10/10 Really pleasant to use, all functionalities are not always useful everyday. but what's great is when you need them they are present

Text input 9/10 no issue here. swipe mode is a great feature.

Display 10/10 Amazing screen, deep dark and colorful. Like it or not, I love it.

Battery 9/10 good autonomy compared to smartphone standards.

Awesome Smart Phone

Samsung has been making smart phones to more smarter for long time and this smart phone is the evidence for it.
Owning this phone is a pleasure , it has made for to do any kind of tasks with ease and obviously it is a good multi tasker I'm vastly edicted to it since when I've purchased it . I've been doing lots and lots of works with it in ease. I hope this phone will get more smarter with it's future updates and serve it's functionalities for more years.

The best smartphone. this is my 2nd android after entry level LG optimus Net. Impressed with GS3. The Display is Gorgeous, Gorrila glass 2 for protection. Speed of the phone is Gr8. All games works well. Like the smart stay function. Excellent Smartphone :)

The phone is fantastic.. I am using an intl version of s3 with quad core exynos chipset. The phone is fluid no doubt but at times it does tend to stutter. Rich video format suppot and very user friendly. outdoor visibility is bright sunlight is a problem (probably coz of AMOLED) but overall its good. The back of the phone looks kinda bland but overall its a complete phone with room for improvement in certain departments.

International Samsung Galaxy S3

Best phone I have used till now. Everything is superb. Rooted at first but now Unrooted because it started lagging with most ROMS. After unrooting its fast and responsive with no problems at all.
It's Battery last with more than one day with me with Playing some games Using Camera 1 or 2 times a day Reading Some News And Some little calls throughout the day.

Build quality 9/10 Not the Best Build Quality Out there, But Not Bad Either.

Reception 10/10 Best! No signal problem.I have more signals even when most phones nearby have 1 or none

Call quality 10/10 Nice call Quality, Nice Clear Sound Not only on my end but the other end(whom I'am talking to) also gets clear sound without the noise from background

Internet 10/10 Fast Browsing Experience With Nice large Screen. Perfect!

Multimedia 10/10 No Problem EveryThing Plays Nicely With Great Quality

Camera 10/10 Best Used till Now. Compared the Camera With My friends Mobile Phones guess What I WON :)

UI speed 10/10 As told Earlier Nice speed and responsiveness with project butter but without rooting I had better Results Overall

Everyday usage 9/10 Nice phone but using it with One hand is not the easiest thing in the world And it becomes worse when u are sweating in the summer

A relatively good phone.

The biggest fault of this phone is the fact that you can't install apps on the external SD card,witch is a shame if you have a 64 GB card.
Except that ,the phone is very good and I highly recommend it.

Build quality 8/10 Good quality plastic ,but easy to scratch.

Reception 8/10 Maybe is just mine but i am always getting only half of signal,when phones around me get full bars.But overall that doesn't affect call quality.

Call quality 10/10 Very loud and clear sound.

Internet 10/10 Good,but not all the times.

Multimedia 10/10 You have every multimedia thing you need in this phone.

Camera 8/10 Compared to other phones at this price,camera quality is not that good especially indoor( for photos).Video recording is superb,the only complain i have is that the clips are very big in 1080p. For example 15 minutes of video has around 3.7 GB.

UI speed 9/10 It gets a little laggy after you install more apps. (Skype and the Voice Assistant are quite harmful for the UI Speed, at least in my case)

Everyday usage 9/10 it's quite wide and a bit hard to hold in one hand, especially at night in bed when the back of the phone gets all slippery.

Text input 10/10 Great keyboard,through the landscape one is quite hard to get used to.

Display 9/10 The display has amazing black tones and vivid colors,but is not that bright as iPhone's display for example.

Battery 9/10 Well,i choose this phone over the One X for the great battery life,and so far it's ok. With 1 hour of 3G browsing,2-3 hours of music listing,a couple of text messages and 30 minutes of talking,I can easily get one day of battery life (12-16 hours)

Pepple blue with AT&T...

I did a lot of research on this phone and a few others. I work hard for my money and want to soend it on quality, period!!!!

Pros:
Super fast able to have 2, 3 even 4 windows open at a time and still moves along with little to no drag..
Big screen
Ultra thin
Battery ... last almost all day..
Gorgeous screen colors just jump out at you... life like..
Camera
Volume.... super loud speakers.. crisp and clean
User friendly
Lots of cool features... double tap I love it.. dont have to endlessly swipe to go back to top of page..

Cons:
Only have one!! Keyboard is excellent but no variety of colors and back ground.

I would recommend this without hesitation.... PERFECT 10!!! IPhone has nothing on the galaxy s3 !!!!

It is good. Very fast phone and has a ton of cool features. It has great battery and a really nice screen. The camera on it is also amazing.If you want a good phone, GET THIS PHONE. Samsung Galaxy S III rules!

Alot of amazing features that make the galaxy S3 the best phone in market today as it features a super amoled 4.8'' screen that goes perfect with colors especially dark ones, it also features S-voice, smart stay, S-beam, All-sharecast and android ICS that is up-gradable to jelly bean including many other amazing features .
all i can say its the best phone made till now and i wont change it till the S4 comes to life

Samsung galaxy s3 is the best smartphone at all.
S3 vs HTC ONE x:
In addition htc one x has got a faster cpu,but it isn't used as well as Samsung's. for example in SGS3 you can see your video when you are sending a message.or when you are browsing web,you see that samsung is too better than htc.
Also SGS3 uses a 4.8 Super AMOLED screen that takes much less charge than Super IPS LCD which is used in htc one x and the colors are more living in SGS3.
S3 vs Apple iphone 5 :
It is not fair to compare iphone5 with SGS 3! Because iphone 5 has come after SGS3. But you can not compare the Quad core1400 MHz cpu of the SGS3 with the Dual core 1300MHz cpu of the iphone5!
I have to say that apple has got a very good Build quality and everyone knows that but it doesn't mean that apple is better.I think both of them are good phones but SGS3 has got a better results than iphone 5.

Worst Phone

Worst phone I've ever had. Weirdly shaped, feels cheap, screen looks distorted, had to get it replaced twice because the screen got stuck with inverted colors. Feels heavy, can't fit in some of my pockets because it's too wide.

The Best phone I ever had,I must say all it need is better software optimization and software updates must come to my country earlier. If you're a new android user, your money is worth it whit this device.. Goodluck

Reception 9/10 Maybe it's my network's fault why I sometimes receive low reception but overall its good

Call quality 9/10 Great! I Very clear voice!

Internet 10/10 It's fast but our my network sucks

Multimedia 10/10 One of the best Multimedia experience! Great screen and loud speakers = Damn

Camera 10/10 Very snappy! Though I have a hard time using Macro shots, can't focus on my subject that much

UI speed 9/10 Touchwiz UX crashes more often after upgrading to 4.1.1

My friend has the iPhone 5. My battery lasts longer, my phone is more customizable, internet is much faster, big screen enables great video playing. This phone is amazing. Whoever dubbed this beast the "iPhone Killer" knew what he was talking about.

Great Phone

I've had the phone for six or so months, and I've had absolutely no problems. It has great quality, long lasting battery life, amazing graphics, etc. I'd definitely suggest this phone. Most of my friends have iPhones, yet, they still long for my phone.

Build quality 8/10 I'd suggest a screen protector and case. Standard. Most phones aren't build for falls and things like that.

Reception 10/10

Call quality 9/10 Once in awhile, I'll have trouble if I have it on speaker, but other than that, perfect.

Text input 5/10 This is the only thing that bothers me about this phone. The keyboard isn't that good.

Display 10/10 I absolutely loved the graphics.

Battery 10/10 I was surprised at how long the battery lasts. I go to a vocational school for Technology, and I have a long bus ride. I use my phone constantly on my bus, and throughout the day.

galaxy s3 is the best Android phone launched uptill now we have tested it, built wise, specs wise, and UI wise there is no other phone which can match this beast.
The HD 720p @ 4.8" is amazing. Deep blacks and great viewing angles made my day. When watching an HD video, you just see how good it is. Every hair in the long-bearded old man is seen. The brightness is also very good, after setting it to max.
