LG posts an ad for sold-out Nexus 4
Not that Google or LG need to promote the Nexus 4 right now, seeing as how they can’t make them fast enough to keep ‘em in stock, but LG went ahead and released a two minute video spot to the interwebs just the same, so now we’ll bring it to you. It’s a good video – in many ways it follows in the footsteps of recent Google advertising, combining music with demonstrations of a product’s capabilities.

This one is a bit more cut and dried in its feature demos than say Google's Nexus 7 ads, and it’s certainly not as risqué as some of Samsung’s Galaxy S3 ads, but it does an effective job of showing off the Nexus 4 to potential buyers, and is certainly more useful than taking potshots at the Apple.

Take a look-see yourself and let us know what you think about it in the comments below:

Love the shiny back! :D Otherwise, looks like a galaxy s3 commercial with the "sharing" stuff.

Its great phone specially for the actual price. But all its useless if they don't have enough stock to supply us. We consumers deserve a better service. I could understand that sometimes it could be "out of stock" due to high demand but they way its being handle right now its just sad

The glittery back just looks sooooo.... shimmery.
Looks kinda funny for a dude. They should have a glitterless option at least.

Instead of making ads!! Lg should work harder to bring nexus 4 back in stock!! Because u cant advertise ur product when it's out of stock!! So lg u r doing well but still thr is some room for improvement :-)

Yeah that's smart, post an add for a phone everyone wants and make us want it even more only to find out, it is completely sold out. Good job LG. Google, your next Nexus phone should not have this kind of wait.

That ad was pretty cheesy.

11. redmd posted on 19 Dec 2012, 16:43 6

lol people demand too much. why can't you wait. it's sold out because it's cheap and it's a good product and many people want it.

Sold out?? I haven't been able to sell any and I've never seen anyone with one! This sounds bogus to me. I've only had one person ask about one and I sold them a GS3 anyways.

Even though it's sold out just wait. exercise patience it will help you in the future.

I LOVE THIS PHONE, only if it came with higher storage capacities/SD card and it was available here in India, I would pick it up with my eyes closed. But I don't think it's going to be launched here, as no Nexus device has ever been launched in India :'( :/
Oh Google, why?
