Apple's WWDC banners hint it's 'where a whole new world is developing'

Apple's 2013 WWDC event will be taking place in the San Francisco's Moscone West convention center next Monday, and Apple is widely believed to unveil iOS 7 there, alongside numerous other goodies.

It seems that the official slogan for the event is "Where a whole new world is developing", as that's what's written on the banners that are starting to adorn the walls at the convention center, and Apple's logos are being hung all around the place.

The colors of the banner coincide with the vivid scheme used in the official 2013 WWDC app, despite the rumors that iOS 7 will be flatter, less colorful and more minimalistic than the skeuomorphic design we've had so far.

And yet you were the first to post and have to put in your Apple hater 2¢ everywhere. You're almost as much of a troll on Apple articles as Mxy is on Android articles.

I think apple has been watching WHoyton1. I think they've realized it's time for a shakeup, and they're known for delivering a hit when needed. I think they'll give us something sweet. What're your thoughts?

My anticipation for this WWDC is higher than for any others. I really wanna see wassup, last year I bought the ip5, and note 2. This year I'm thinking 5S/6, and note 3, or the One.

Are you insinuating that Samsung's software and design are merely a continuation of the work Apple started?

Hasn't been any solid leaks in my opinion, too much speculation and showing of clear-as-day iOS fakes. Everything has been well kept under wraps, unlike the iPhone 5 last year.

I'm not sure what justifies the "world's most advanced smartphone" tagline, but we'll see what they can bring to the table to back up the usual rhetoric.

My 2002 Nokia 1260 was the most reliable phone I ever owned. That didn't make it the most advanced. What do you have other than parroted lines from Apple marketing?

I try not to as open-minded as possible even though i have been using android for sometime now but i really hope if not for some "freshness" in the OS world that Apple has something great cooking in the pot with iOS7.

@Selena1000, i agree i really enjoy both android and iOS however both are becoming stagnant in my opinion. i Think Android could use Apples stability and fluidness and Apple could benefit from opening up way more such as BT file transfer customization..ect

I'm willing to keep an open mind. But there's only so much they can do with iOS 7 if they want it to remain backward compatible with the iPhone 4. A single core and 0.5 GB RAM will only stretch so far.

I for one am looking forward to seeing what Apple has to offer. I think Cook has realized Steve Jobs plan will not work without the man himself. And if he's gonna make his mark on Apple, it can't be under SJ's 5 year plan. He's gonna have to remake the iPhone or a version of the iPhone in his own vision. This might be it.
