Want a Microsoft Real Madrid Windows tablet? Visit Spain
Microsoft this week started selling a unique Windows 8.1 tablet made for fans of Real Madrid, one of the most popular (and rich) football/soccer teams in the world.

Unfortunately for Real Madrid fans across the globe, the new tablet is available to buy only in Spain. Prices start at €199 (about $224), and you can choose to customize the slate with your own name etched on the back for an extra €50. The first 100 buyers will be invited to visit Santiago Bernabeu, Real Madrid's famous stadium.

Called "Windows Tablet Edición Real Madrid", the slate sports an 8.9-inch IPS display with 1200 x 1920 pixels, and is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F processor. The tablet also offers a 5 MP rear camera, 2 MP front-facing camera, 2 GB of RAM, and 32 GB of expandable storage space. A free subscription to Office 365 for 1 year is included. Measuring 233.2 x 148.2 x 8 mm and weighing 369 grams, the Real Madrid tablet has a 6700 mAh Li-Po battery, and is available in either black, or white.

Just like all other Windows 8.1 devices out there, the Real Madrid slate will be updated to Windows 10 in the near future (probably starting June 29).

If it was a Barcelona tablet the price would be listed as 200 and you would end up paying triple. Just like they did with Neymar. I would easily buy one of these. HALA MADRID!

I'm not a fan of the large bezels on the screen. Looks dated.

hmm 8.9 inch screen reminds me of the Surface mini ARMS CPU windows RT tablet. Microsoft killed that device maybe it returns as an ATOM CPU affordable Plastic tablet selling for well under 400 dollars. if this is so the specs are great for a Tablet that will run MS office well, serf the web, run Netflix, Hulu plus. run windows store Apps, check email, it will do basic stuff well but not run high level video games or CAD programs or some high level video editing programs. if Microsoft sells it elsewhere it will sell well especially with Windows 10 aboard it . Hmm could be it will come to the states as a Windows 10 tablet and be introduced the same time the 2 new surface Pro 4 models are introduced which I think will be in mid July to be on sale for the Fall school/College shoppers

With a Intel atom soc it should be able to run smartphone games and it's not an ARMs one so it should be able to run WP pro on it.
