LG G3 clock is the best clock/alarm app coming from OEMs. Second will be Sony's or Samsung.

Hi Settings, I'm the author of AlarmPad, an alarm clock app I believe should have been listed here. I'm biased as the author but I believe the app is superior to all the others listed in this article. If you have a chance, please do consider taking a look at it. Just search on the Google Play Store for "AlarmPad". Thanks!

Thanks for the recommendation. PA is where promoted articles are paid. You should know that. I'll try AlarmPad.

Hi settings, can you help me please I've just read what you put about the G3 alarm been the best, I've had my G3 for 2 months now and I'm having problems with my alarm. I set it to go off everyday at the same time and 4 times now it hasn't gone off, I've checked that I've set it right ( and I have ) so I was just wondering if you have had the same problem at all, and if not do you have any ideas or suggestions for what I could try please Thanks

Hi torr310, I'm the author of AlarmPad, an alarm clock app I believe should have been listed here and is superior to Alarm Clock Extreme in almost every way. I'm working on the app quite frequently on its Google+ community and many updates are on the way. If you have a chance, please do consider taking a look at it. Just search on the Google Play Store for "AlarmPad". Thanks!

Lately the alarm does not sound for me when the phone is asleep. I use CM13.

I miss morning routine in the list. The UX is a bit Material Design overdrive, but it does come in with a handy option to run a Tasker task at the given time and also the ability to dismiss the alarm by scanning a QR code (which could be in the kitchen, making you get up for real).

Hi RebelwithoutaClue, if you don't mind me asking, please consider AlarmPad for a better use of Material Design guidelines. AlarmPad also comes with many Tasker plugins for actions and events making it unique in that regard too. If you have a chance, please do consider taking a look at it. Just search on the Google Play Store for "AlarmPad". Thanks!

Will do thanks for the tip, only reason I use MR is because of Tasker, because their implementation of MD is over the top. And was missing scanning a NFC tag, which your app does have, thanks :)

It is a very nice app indeed, lots of features and plugin options. Just bought the paid version to support the dev. It even shows the alarm icon in stat bar (which MR didn't) Thanks for the tip, really like it so far

You're the developer?

Yes, sorry I did not mention it. I replied to other comments in this thread where I say I'm the dev but missed it here. Sorry.

No need to mention it, could have read the other comments. I do have one minor comment about the app. I like the sync option (used timely before this), but isn't it possible to sync using the Google account instead of creating a new one?

Thanks. I'm working on Google sign-on for the next version. I can't add links here yet but search for the app's Google+ community to follow up on updates. The link is also on the app description in the Play Store.

Will do, many thanks

While I may have been interested in your app.. when you start bombing members of the community like this - just lost my interest.

I'm sorry it bothered you. I did not post any top comment and only replied to some users regarding my app where it made sense. You can see my comment is connected to theirs. Most comments however are part of a conversation between me and RebelwithoutaClue, who showed interest in the app. Was I not supposed to reply to him? Also, I hope you don't mind me asking but how else am I, an independent developer, supposed to tell others about the app? I suppose it is only thanks to my comments here that you know about it now. I'm genuinely asking for your help here if you have any suggestion on how I could better approach other members. Thanks!

I use Good Morning alarm which is paid app for years already. It wakes me up with voice, reads my calendar entries, tells me weather in my location and so forth. The voice message is the one I created, and it uses whatever TTS engine you choose. It also has many other features listed in the apps above. Best app I ever bought!

Which specific Good Morning alarm are you using? Which Dev? There are several with that name if the Play Store.
