Unlocked Sony Xperia M4 Aqua (8 GB model) available in the US via Amazon
Last week, Sony announced that it would release the Xperia M4 Aqua in Canada sometime later this month, but it didn't say anything about a possible launch in the US. Even so, you can already buy the new handset if you're in the US, as Amazon is selling it unlocked for $349.

Mind you, the Xperia M4 Aqua that Amazon is offering is the 8 GB variant (model number E2303), which only has 1.26 GB of free storage space. Sure enough, the phone supports microSD cards, but you have to pay extra for a card. If you're OK with that, the M4 Aqua is a device that you should consider taking a look at, especially if you're in need of a dust- and water-resistant (IP68-certified) smartphone with Android Lollipop on board.

The Xperia M4 Aqua is a mid-range handset that sports a 5-inch 720p display and is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor. The smartphone also comes with a 13 MP rear camera, 5 MP front-facing camera, 2 GB of RAM, and a 2400 mAh battery. Go check out our Xperia M4 Aqua hands-on (video included) for more details.

Why? Do you hate the damn "light" software too? I hope they fix every bug and performance and camera issue with the 5.1 update, because it could be last one the T2 gets, otherwise they can go **** themselves.

1.26gb isn't even enough for any decent 3d game. Even ones under 500mb will be useless since once you install it you won't have enough space to download and update it. 8gb storage is inexcusable in all but the most budget of devices, which, at $350, this device ain't. Might as well pick up a Z1 or even Z2.

Just Asphalt 8 needs 2.4GB of free space, even when it's not going to use it all, 8GB and 1GB of RAM are simply not enough, Sony's phones are very overpriced most of the time, no wonder they don't sell.

not all apps can be moved to the SD card so that won't solve the problem unless you don't plan on downloading many apps. Also cache uses your storage and you have to constantly clear it. To me its just a headache, why would anyone buy this? I've been dying to buy a Sony phone but this is not the one.

What is wrong with Sony releasing a phone that only has 1.26GB of storage available to the user? How much is the price difference between a 8GB and16GB internal memory module? I bet is not that much but yet Sony chooses to kill this phone by putting 8GB of internal memory and than selling it for more than $300, what a rip off.
