US Cellular confirms that Windows Phone 8 is on the way

US Cellular, for being a regional carrier, has been able to maintain a pretty decent line-up of devices, although folks looking for iPhone love have been disappointed. Fans of Windows Phone have been able to pick from a good selection of Windows Phones as well.

However, US Cellular has not had any Windows Phone 8 devices in its stable since the launch of new devices last year, and its remaining Windows Phone 7 devices have dwindled to a selection of only one, the ZTE Render.

Did US Cellular have any plans to jump into the Windows Phone 8 game? Turns out the answer is yes, and we found out via the carrier’s Facebook timeline where it was pumping the Galaxy S4 for pre-order of all places.

Not surprisingly, we have zero details as to which Windows Phone gear will be joining US Cellular’s line-up, no date either. All that was offered was that more details would be made available in May and that the announcement would be made on Facebook “first.”
