Two new cases for the Nexus 6 introduced by Google

The Nexus 6 is a beast. And while it is manufactured by Motorola, a company known for releasing some pretty tough handsets (think about the Motorola DROID), it doesn't hurt to have some protection on your new pride and joy. To that end, Google has introduced two new cases for the Nexus 6, both posted on the Google Play Store.

The Naked Tough Case is a dual-layered case that is made of lightweight plastic, and includes chrome buttons on the side. The Google Play Store shows that this case is "coming soon," and that it will be priced at $35. This case features a hard outer shell and a bumper that protects against your butterfingers. A stand on the back lets you view movies (and PhoneArena reviews on YouTube) in landscape mode, while you sit back in a chair sipping a pina colada.

The Stand Folio Case features a microfiber lining and slots for your credit cards. Multitasking as a wallet and a phone case, the case also features a stand for viewing videos in landscape. The Stand Folio Case is also "coming soon," and will be priced at $40.

If you're interested in either case, your best bet is to check in periodically with the Google Play Store to see if orders for the two cases are being accepted.
