Three Apple iPad Pro units and an updated Apple Pencil get certified in China?
A couple of days ago we passed along several leaks related to the next-generation Apple iPad Pro tablets. It appeared that the upcoming version of the iPad Pro would feature the TrueDepth Camera, Face ID, thinner bezels, an edge-to-edge display, and USB-C support. The slate is believed to feature a powerful Apple A12X SoC, and a "Magnetic Connector" that will attach accessories to the tablet. An updated Apple Pencil will reportedly be made available.

But earlier today, we passed along some leaked images of the unannounced iPad Pro, and these renders showed the device without the TrueDepth Camera (see CAD image at the top of this article), which would mean no Face ID. Instead, a single front-facing camera was spotted. We will find out exactly what features are on the tablet, possibly as soon as this month when we expect to see the new iPad Pro models unveiled.

Some more news about the upcoming Apple iPad Pro tablets was revealed this afternoon when a quartet of new Apple model numbers appeared on certification documents from China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). The documents are dated September 29th, 2018, and the model numbers related to the new tablets include A1876, A1980, and A1993. Another listing is for a new Bluetooth device with the model number A2051. Could this be an updated Apple Pencil carrying new features?
